Marissa Cloud Marissa Cloud 5'3" | PG Holy Trinity | 2023 State FL PG 5’3″ Holy Trinity/Space Coast Fury
Cloud is a very active player that moves around the court very smooth. She as excellent court vision and plays with an unselfish attitude. Scrappy on the defensive end of the floor. She has nice looking jump shot that she can hit if left open. A high IQ player that controls the tempo of her team.
Danigzy Mantilla Danigzy Mantilla 5'5" | PG St Cloud | 2024 State FL PG 5’5″ 2023 Saint Cloud/Bluestar Orlando
Mantilla was hands down the best Point guard at the event. Able to handle pressure using crafty ball handling skills. In transition, she consistently found the open players running the floor, having her head up all while reading the defense. She has a smooth jump shot that she consistently knocked down. Showed some very impressive attack and finish moves at the basket. Player of the game, game 1, court 1.
Asiana Britt Asiana Britt 5'7" | CG DME Academy | 2023 State FL CG 5’8″ 2023 Camden High School/DME
The first time seeing this player, play. She was very impressive, being aggressive to the basket, finishing strong with the and 1’s. A tough player that controlled the floor for her team, getting her teammates involved in the action. She has an ability to also knock down the outside jump shot. She was player of the game, for game 4, court 2.
Samaria Sims PG 5’2″ 2023 New Faith Christian/OMGTE
Sims is a player that plays with a lot of enthusiasm that rubs off on her teammates. Very positive player that make strong plays with her ball handling skills. She gets to the basket with ease, finishing with a mix of moves. One of a hand full of kids that made the trip down from Georgia to participate in the event.
Jayda Centero PG 5’2″ 2023 Spruce Creek/Bluestar
Centero is a shorter guard that plays with a pit bull attitude. Very scrappy and aggressive on the defensive end of the floor, getting in offensive players face, causing a lot of pressure along with getting steals, tips and deflections. Controls the floor on the offensive side of the floor, distributing the ball to her teammates. Look forward to watching her play for the Hawks this upcoming High School season. She was player of the game for game 1, court 2.
Isabella Spence Isabella Spence 5'7" | CG Timber Creek | 2024 State FL SG 5’7″ 2023 Timber Creek/Bluestar Orlando
Having been able to watch this kid over the last few years. She has showed much improvement in all facets of her game. It really goes to show what hard work and dedication can do. She was getting to the basket at will, finishing with either hand, using a variety of moves. A very vocal player that really excites her teammates to play at their best. She was able to knock some outside jump shots.
