Kloe Zentkowski Kloe Zentkowski 6'1" | CG Superior | 2024 State WI
Highlights
The Superior native is a 6-foot-1 kid who doesn’t have a position she fits into, and that’s a positive. You could pick two possessions out of a hat and see Zentkowski initiate offense or score with her back to the basket as a traditional five. She is a swiss army knife who can do anything a coach would need her to do to help her team win. Zentkowski’s versatility makes her stand out from the crowd, and it’s not surprising that schools have already materialized their interest in her.

If there were a kid who could take a massive leap this season, it might be Savannah James Savannah James 5'7" | CG Grafton | 2024 State WI . Her biggest issue last season was shot selection, and I think that will work itself with time and experience, which playing EYBL basketball could’ve done this summer. James is a plus-shooter who can get hot quickly and end games within minutes. She sees the game well and understands the flow of a game, but her ability to get shots off quickly makes her a threat to make waves in the North Shore this season.

There wasn’t any moment at the state tournament where the crowd erupted quite like when Berg knocked down her third and fourth 3-pointers in the state semifinals last March. The thing Berg does better than most is making simple plays every time. She always makes good decisions with the ball, which is why I don’t count out Menomonie this season. Usually, the team that makes the most out of their possessions has a better shot at winning games, and Berg will do that this season. Don’t be surprised to see the Mustangs go deep into the postseason again this season.
The Brookfield Central wing/forward made a name for herself by being an outstanding rebounder this summer. There were a few occasions when she was winning rebounding battles against girls five inches taller than her, and it didn’t look that challenging to her. Edmond is also a gym rat who has put work in over the summer and has become a more well-rounded offensive threat. She has a competitive edge to her game that’ll endear her to coaches at the next level, which doesn’t hurt.
