Adrianna Gonzalez Adrianna Gonzalez 5'7" | PG Indian Trail | 2024 State WI
Some kids have a knack for scoring the ball, and Gonzalez is an excellent example. The Indian Trail guard can score from anywhere on the floor and creates her shot. When she gets going downhill, even though she’s 5-foot-6, she seems to make things happen, even against some tall defenders in the paint. I like that Gonzalez has that mentality because it separates her from other kids in the state and the region. Don’t be surprised if she has some wild stat lines this season.
Kylah McCullers
After having to sit out the year 2020, because Madison city schools canceled their season, McCullers was a significant reason why the Purgolders program got back on track. McCullers is a skilled guard who can score in bunches and had some incredible games last season. This season, the now senior has shot the ball at a high level and scored 30 in the Purgolders opening night win against Sun Prairie East. She’s also shot over 90% from the free-throw line to start the season, and if that’s even remotely who she is, she’ll help the Purgolders close out games this season.
Abby Hollis Abby Hollis 5'7" | CG Albany | 2025 State WI
Before the year started, I said to watch out for Hollis at Albany this season, and she hasn’t disappointed. The sophomore doesn’t seem to like to miss shots, so she hasn’t done much of that. Her splits to start the season are a scorching 56/63/100. She’s averaging 23.5 points after three games this season and has led the Comets to a 3-0 start. She likely won’t stay on that kind of heater all year, but if you haven’t seen her play, I can’t suggest it enough.
Lindsey Schadewalt Lindsey Schadewalt 5'10" | SG New Glarus | 2024 State WI
The New Glarus wing has been one of the most consistent performers in Wisconsin over the past season, and she’s started this season well. When I say she’s constant, I mean it. In her first three games for the Glarner Knights this season, she’s scored 24, 24, and 29 points. She’s one of the best players in D4, and Schadewalt continues to drive that point home this season after leading her team to a big early-season conference win against Columbus.
