Continue ReadingComing off an ACL tear, the Texas A&M-commit should quickly make up for lost time. She averaged 6.8 points and 4.3 assists before getting hurt. She’s an unselfish guard that can pack a punch as a perimeter scorer.
The William & Mary-commit also is coming off an injury. She’s been a prolific producer at the Class A-Private level, averaging well over 20 points per game. She’s a creative one-on-one player that can breakdown the defense and get to the rim, while maintaining a strong enough outside shot to still space the floor. Dance is a very good playmaker off the dribble that sees the floor.
The reigning Class 2A Player of the Year averaged 19.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.2 steals helping Elbert County capture their first state title. Allen is tremendous in the open floor, a blaze of speed getting to the rim. In the halfcourt she likes to get to her floater but also will make teams pay from the mid-range and beyond. Defensively, she’s quick laterally and can frustrate opponents.
Cain is physically ready to play in college, an athletic forward with wide shoulders. Cain is a tough rebounder and a threat from 15-feet and in. She’s capable of taking her man off the dribble from the wing and can score through contact downhill. Her mid-range jumper has been improving. She can be a mismatch on offense with her quickness and a valuable versatile defender.
Kennesaw State is getting great length and mobility in Taylor. She can be a impactful defender with her ability to alter shots and move her feet on the perimeter. Trynce averaged 12.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2 steals.
