The senior combo guard makes a diverse impact all over the floor, proving to have a truly well rounded skillset. At 5’6, Christopher put up averages of 8.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3.4 steals per game. Christopher has repeatedly showcased discipline on the defensive end, either off the ball or as the point of attack defender. Throughout her junior year and third straight year on varsity, Christopher posted 4 or more steals on nine seperate occassions. The combo guard is without a doubt going to be one of Broomfield’s best perimeter defenders, while showing skills on the offensive end too.
Sophia Meyer Sophia Meyer CG Regis Jesuit | 2023 State CO – Regis Jesuit
Meyer will be a noteworthy player throughout the season, given her defensive versatility at 5’10 coupled with her efficiency on the offensive end. The combo guard put up respectable numbers with a 15-9 group, posting 7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game while knocking down 36% of her three point attempts. Meyer has shown confidence as a shooter off the catch through her poise making shots through contests. The guard will likely take another step in shooting volume, following the departure of graduate Madden McHugh. The defensive end will be especially important to Meyer’s upside, given her ability to guard multiple positions as is.
Annabelle Biggar Annabelle Biggar 5'11" | CG Dawson School | 2023 State CO – Dawson
Biggar plays with toughness on both ends, dominating the 2A league with Dawson. The Butler lacrosse commit had herself an exciting junior season, posting 14.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 3.9 steals per game. At 5’11, Biggar enjoys pushing the pace no matter the circumstances. Whether it be a coast to coast drive off the defensive rebound or a simple hesitiation into a drive, Biggar seeks out opportunities to pressure the defense. Should the guard take up a final season of hoops, Dawson will have significant benefits from her presence.
Kyra Haan Kyra Haan 5'8" Mead | 2023 CO – Mead
Haan has proven herself as an opportune off-ball cutter in conjunction with dependability as a complementary shooter. Coming off of a 21-6 season with Mead, Haan posted 11.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 3.4 steals per game. The combo guard does well utilizing flare screens and curls to create space for shots. She possesses a quick jumper capable extending out past the high school line. Haan’s shot passes the eye test, through her quick and succinct motion the guard knocked down 42% of her three point attempts. Following the departure of Maddox Boston and Edie Morrow, Haan will have ample opportunities not only to expand her volume but expand shot diet. The guard has made a collegiate commitment to Embry-Riddle in Florida.
Andi Schissler Andi Schissler 5'9" | CG Platte Valley | 2023 State CO – Platte Valley
Another commit, Schissler has showcased excellent footwork and shooting touch in the mid-range. Schissler is an especially crafty guard, thanks to her skills she recently committed to Casper College out in Wyoming. The combo guard will be a tough cover this year, previously posting 15.6 points, 3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.7 steals with Platte Valley. The senior class will be deep with collegiate talent.
