In this article we feature some of then 2023s who stood out at the Inside Exposure Thanksgiving Classic.
Jordan Boddie Jordan Boddie 5'9" | CG Lake Mary | 2023 State FL / /2023 /
Watching Boddie and Kaylah Turner Kaylah Turner 5'5" | PG Oakleaf | 2023 State FL was a treat. Boddie shot the daylights out of the ball and had 4 threes in the Oakleaf – Mainland contest. She played well on defense and handled the ball very well. One of the best shooting guards I saw on Day 2 of the tournament.
Kaylah Turner Kaylah Turner 5'5" | PG Oakleaf | 2023 State FL / 2023/ 5’6 PG / Oakleaf
Turner was a blaze on the court and her speed on the court was completely at a different level. Her defense spearheaded a 4th quarter-comeback victory. She recorded steal after steal and harassed Mainland Guards all game long. Offensively, she was killing it and she could not be stopped in the transition game.
Fantasia James Fantasia James 5'10" | SF Oakleaf | 2023 State FL / 2023 / 5’10 SG / Oakleaf
Offensively James shot every shot on the shot sheet. She finished with 20 plus points. She got in the paint at will and finished with the right and the left. Her mid range game was potent. Defensively no one is a more fierce competitor than James. She recorded 4 to 5 blocks and was agressive on defense all game long.
Jazmine Major Jazmine Major 5'5" | CG Palm Bay Magnet | 2023 State FL / 2023 / 5’6 SG / Palm Bay
Major (cover) played well in the tournament. especially on night one. She shot the three well, attacked the rim, and played well in transition. She was a defensive menace, taking charges and getting steals.. Major played well on both ends of the court. It was her passion and disregard for bodily harm that stood out as she just threw her body on the court.
Kamiya Jones Kamiya Jones 5'6" | SG Oakleaf | 2023 State FL / 2023 / 5’6 SG / Oakleaf
It took Jones a little while to get going, but down the stretch the catch and shoot skills were on display as the Senior long range number put her stamp on the game with several 4th quarter threes and helped Oakleaf erase a double digit second half lead to win the game by a single point.
