Prep Girls Hoops Missouri continues its preseason previews with a look at the St. Louis Suburban Conference Red Division. The division will be very competitive with teams such as Lindbergh, Clayton and Ladue vying for the top spot.
THE STARTING FIVE
(Lindbergh): A versatile 6’0″ 2024 forward who has good moves in the post and can also handle the ball and be a playmaker on the perimeter. As a sophomore, she averaged 10.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists a game. She has already received offers from Eastern Illinois and Stephens College.
Lauren Young (Clayton): A talented 2025 guard who had an excellent varsity debut campaign with her perimeter shooting. As a freshman, she averaged 12.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists a game while making 33 3-pointers.
Brooklyn Pierce (Clayton): A 5’10” 2024 forward who is a solid inside player who works hard as a scorer and rebounder. As a sophomore, she averaged 9.6 points and 7.7 rebounds a game.
(Ladue): A talented 5’7″ 2024 guard who came on strong last season to have an excellent sophomore season. She excels at both ends of the court. She averaged 11.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.4 steals last season.
Nyla Jackson (Lindbergh): A 5’5″ 2024 guard who can run the offense and shoot the basketball from long distance. As a sophomore, she averaged 8.8 points and three rebounds a game while making 32 3-pointers.
