Insider Exposure hosted a number of the top teams from all across Florida as well as all across the country. We took in some of the action at Bolles School. Here are some of the class of 2024 guard standouts.
Kamryn Corporan Kamryn Corporan 5'3" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL (St. Thomas Aquinas) – 5’5 Guard
Corporan was a very effective penetrator showcasing her quickness and explosiveness off the dribble. She consistently pushed the ball in transition playing downhill and looking to score anytime she had the ball in her hands. On the defensive end she was very active running through passing lanes and applying consistent ball pressure.
Sienna Dauer Sienna Dauer 5'10" | CG IMG Academy | 2024 State FL (IMG Academy) – 5’10 Guard
Dauer was a new face for me, playing a ton of minutes for a talented IMG Academy squad with a lot of depth. Overall she was solid all around – she did not excel in any one particular area but played hard and aggressive and served as an excellent role player. She has good looking perimeter body, was in good shape, and has a well rounded offensive skill set. The intensity and energy that she played with on both ends of floor for the entire game really stood out.
Jada Eads Jada Eads 5'6" | PG Lake Highland Prep | 2024 State FL (Lake Highland Prep) – 5’7 Guard
Eads was a bit quiet compared to what I normally am accustomed to seeing her play. Transferring from Wekiva to Lake Highland Prep, Eads served mainly as point guard and a distributor rather than a scorer. A small, quick, and talented guard, Eads is impressive with the ball in her hands. She has excellent open court and 1v1 moves, does not turn the ball over often and consistently pushes the tempo.
Khadee Hession Khadee Hession 5'10" | CG St Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL (St. Thomas Aquinas) – 5’5 Guard
Hession did her normal thing, playing solid and consistent on both ends of the floor. Hession always impresses me on the defensive end of the floor, as she always take the most difficult match ups and does a good job containing and shutting down the opposing teams best perimeter player. Hession is always a positive influence when she is on the court, not excelling or standing out in any one particular area but always contributing in a variety of areas and helping lead her team to victory.
Janessa Kelley Janessa Kelley 5'9" | SG Blanche Ely | 2024 State FL (Blanche Ely) – 5’9 Guard
Kelley is a left sniper who can really fill it up from deep. She was quiet from the outside as the opposing team did not allow her much space or her to get her shot off as much as she is accustomed to. She is long, athletic and dangerous anytime she is open. She has great form and a quick release with range well beyond the 3-point line.
Charisse Martin Charisse Martin 5'7" | CG Blanche Ely | 2024 State FL (Blanche Ely) – 5’7 Guard
Martin was active and aggressive on both ends of the floor. She is a bigger guard who has a well-rounded offensive game and is a solid defender. She played major minutes for Blanche Ely, being most effective slashing to the rim going right from the wing and baseline.
Ciniya Moore Ciniya Moore 5'10" | CG IMG Academy | 2024 State FL (IMG Academy) – 5’9 Guard
Moore is a strong guard, who played limited minutes coming off the bench. She is a deep 3-point threat with range several feet beyond the 3-point line. With all of IMG’s athleticism and talent, Moore has the potential to be a difference maker in her role by helping space the floor and making open shots.
Bri Rivera (Lake Highland Prep) – 5’7 Guard
Rivera struggled from the outside going 1/5 from the 3-point line but is still one of the state’s top long range bombers and a dangerous threat anytime left open once she crosses half court. She has a strong, solid base with a quick release and great form. She really helps balance the floor as it is hard for teams to help off her because she shoots such a high percentage from 3 when open.
Kennedy Rosendahl Kennedy Rosendahl 5'6" | SG Ponte Vedra | 2024 State FL (Ponte Vedra) – 5’8 Guard
Rosendahl was Ponte Vedra’s best player and emotional leader. She played hard and aggressive and is a skilled offensive scorer. She knocked down huge 3-pointer in overtime to help seal her team’s victory in a come from behind win. At 5’8, she is skilled, has a high IQ, and an efficient and dangerous scorer who can fill it up in a variety of ways.
