Kim Davis Powell and John McGraw got together to host the 2022 Show-N-Prove Showcase in Bradenton, FL at IMG Academy. The two-day event featured some of the state’s top players across the 2023-2030 classes. We were in attendance for both days and will break down the performance of the events top players. Here we look at the top performances on day 2 by the class of 2025 and 2026.
Class of 2025
Savanna Nicholson Savanna Nicholson 5'6" | PG Cardinal Gibbons | 2025 State FL (Cardinal Gibbons / G-Nation) – 5’6 Guard
Nicholson is a long, wiry guard who attacks the basket fearlessly and can knock down the open 3. She plays hard on both ends of the floor consistently and was a spark off the bench for Cardinal Gibbons. She is at her best on the wing, driving the baseline right.
Sumayah Lewis-McIntosh Sumayah Lewis-McIntosh 5'10" | SF Lakewood | 2025 State FL (Lakewood HS / Southeast United) – 5’9 Wing
Simply put, McIntosh is tough. She is a dynamic playmaker that can handle the ball, attacks aggressively off the dribble, plays hard and aggressive on both ends of the floor, and puts the ball in the bucket. She can knock it down from 15 feet both off the catch and off the dribble and has the ability to get by her defender and get into the paint. She can play multiple positions and plays bigger than her size.
Naomi Parker Naomi Parker 5'8" | PG Berkeley Prep | 2025 State FL (Steinbrenner HS / Florida Lady Huskies) – 5’9 Guard
Parker is very unassuming on the court but is naturally gifted. She is athletic and smooth with the ball in her hands and is productive at a high efficiency on the offensive end. She has an incredibly high ceiling and continues to improve every time I see her play.
Class of 2026
Dakara Merthie Dakara Merthie 5'5" | SG Lake Mary | 2026 State FL – 5’9 Guard (Lake Mary HS / CFE Lady Knox Ballers)
Merthie was one of the top standouts in the class of 2026 at the Sunshine State Showdown back in April and this was my first time getting to see her play since then. She is fun to watch as she play hards and has an infectious energy about her that her teammates feed off of. She is active and productive on both sides of the basketball. Look for her to be a stock riser as she made an impressive improvement in just 6 months and will be a continued stock riser in the 2026 class.
Paisley Binswanger Paisley Binswanger 5'7" | CG Sarasota | 2026 State FL – 5’7 Guard (Sarasota HS / Always 100)
Bingswanger is a talented combo guard who can drop buckets! She does a great job letting the game come to her. She shoots a high percentage from the field without forcing her scoring opportunities. She can score off the bounce and is ready to shoot at all times in penetrate and kick situations. She is a guard to watch in the class of 2026!
Sofia Rathburn – 5’6 Point Guard (The King’s Academy / FGB South Florida)
Rathburn is gritty combo guard who has a balanced offensive floor game. She can knock down open 3s, hand handle the ball vs pressure and sees the floor well. She is an unselfish player with a team first attitude who makes the extra pass, does all the little things to help her team win and plays hard on both ends of the floor.
Jazmine Jones (South Broward / Essence) – 5’3 Point Guard
Jones has a small stature but is quick with the ball in her hands, shifty in the open court and in 1v1 situations and has broad shoulders that allows her to play against bigger, stronger, more physical players and get in the paint and take contact. She is a young, talented scoring guard who is one of the top 2026 prospects in the state.
