| PG | Grant – Leah is a dynamic point guard that knows how to play the game and is always making plays with the ball whether it be on offense or defense. She can score the ball with consistency and she is one of the better ball handlers in this class. She is a dynamo at her size, any coach should be interested in recruiting this kid.
Analya Anderson Analya Anderson 5'5" | PG King Drew | 2024 State CA | PG | King Drew – Anderson a small, yet strong guard who plays bigger than her height. She pushes the ball well in transition and she can finish through traffic at the basket. She has a quick first step and can get the defense off balance as she slashes to the rim. Most of her points came off drives to the basket.
Juliana O’Brien Juliana O’Brien 5'8" | SG Mira Costa | 2024 State CA | SG | Mira Costa – O’Brien can be both a playmaker and a scoring wing. In the halfcourt, she’s unselfish and looks to make the extra pass. She’s a good playmaker in transition too, keeping her head up and recognizing teammates filling the lanes. She has a size advantage over other wings and uses it to play in the midpost and hit defenders with a little fadeway near the basket. She can face up too and knock down the midrange jumper.
Leah Richards Leah Richards 5'5" | PG South Torrance | 2024 State CA | PG | South Torrance – Richard stood out as a player who can play both guard positions but is able to act as the primary ball-handler setting up the offense. She keeps the ball moving in the halfcourt and is a pass first player. She’s also able to play alongside other ball-handlers and play off-ball looking for scoring opportunities. Solid with the ball in her hands, getting paint touches and kicking the ball out to open teammates once the defense collapses.
Lola Donez Lola Donez 5'11" | CG Oaks Christian | 2024 State CA | CG | Oaks Christian – Donez has a good length and is in the mold of a tall point guard. She can play multiple positions but she is trusted to be the primary ball-handler and run the offense. Looks for her teammates around the rim. She’s comfortable with the ball in her hands and is consistently able to beat her defender off the dribble and finish at the basket. She moves well off ball too, relocates well after the pass and she is a consistent three-point shooter off the catch with a quick release.
Makenna Encarnacion Makenna Encarnacion 5'10" | SF Don Lugo | 2024 State CA | SF | Don Lugo – big forward that can shoot the ball from the midrange, hustles on the floor and is pretty good at dealing in the paint. Gets rebounds and can push it as well. Also showed us she can shoot the three ball with some consistency and make big plays for her team when it was needed. Great size and uses her body well in the paint as a power forward. Back to basket skills are developing, but this girl can play on the perimeter.
Isabella Medina Isabella Medina 5'10" | SF Don Lugo | 2024 State CA | SF | Don Lugo – nice lengthy wing that can rebound the ball and get the ball to the guards to push the transition break. She used her size wel in the paint to secure rebounds and then kick it out to the guard and then she filled the lanes to get easy buckets. She’s a good on ball defender who gets in up in the ball-handler’s space and contests shots well. She’s quick and she can get back defensively in transition well enough to stop the dribble and is able to recover if beat. Good screener. Offensively, she moves without the ball and makes solid cuts along the baseline.

Naomi Panganiban Naomi Panganiban 5'6" | CG La Jolla Country Day | 2024 State CA | CG | La Jolla Country Day – The first time I saw Panganiban play, La Jolla was without a couple of their top players and she did very well running the team and acting as a lead guard. This time, those players were back and she did just as well fitting in around them. She makes good entry passes and looks for the open teammate in the halfcourt. She is quick off the dribble and can attack the defense. Gets into the paint and she can finish at the basket through traffic.

She’s active on the boards, boxes out and positions herself for rebounds. Solid offensive rebounder keeping possessions alive and getting put-back opportunities. Strong on-ball defender who uses her length and quickness to fight through screens, switch well, and stay in front of the ball-handler. She has a nice offensive touch too. Effective around the basket with some shooting range. Handles the ball well in transition.
