Coming off a significant injury, Mrowicki doesn’t seem to have lost a bit of her athleticism ( Notre Dame soccer commit). She’s strong, competitive, smart, patient and just has a knack of being where the ball is. The confidence and her poised attitude in “stressful” situations standout as well. She capped off a big night with 24 points and 5 rebounds, with a pair of clutch free throws at the end. She stepped up when the needed her too. Hell of a player and athlete.
The skillset that Smith possess is advanced to say the least. Her inside finish game is strong and aggressive, as it is with her defense. Offensively, she can attack the basket from every angle within a short amount of moves. Her ability to read the floor without the ball is a big standout as well. A high IQ combo guard who is forming her game to be a true three level threat. She finished the game with 24pts.
Since the season started Beaumont has put up multiple 30 balls and now she’s starting to show everything that her offensive bag carries. The footwork, the fluidity in her movement, the sharpness and security of her ball handling, and the aggression that she has mentally. A true college ready player that plays at an elite level on a consistent basis. Any type of POTY award is no stretch for her. What a talent to watch.
Easily one of the most athletic basketball players in the state.. Williams gets “alley top” plays drawn for her.. which she give you a clue of her versatility as basketball player. A three level scoring threat who plays the game at a CONTROLLED 100mph. On the defensive side, theres no drop off either. She plays with so much grit and passion. William’s aggression, her tough minded mentality, and the maturity she has to be coachable, are skills within itself. Tremendous upside at the next level.
Washington is such a lead by example rather than speak type of player. She shows up to each game with a even kill attitude. Never to high, never to low. Her skillset is wide ranged. She has the ball handling, IQ, scoring, passing and off ball movement to be a consistent threat on the floor.. even without the ball in her hands. A sniper from behind the arc as well. She started off the tournament day with 22 points (5 deep ones).
Todd’s level of skill at this point in her career, is amazing to watch. Her frame, IQ, poise and simplified skillset are keys to why she can fully take over a game if needed. The handles are strong, the movement is graceful, and her creativity to score at all levels is deep as well. Ella is no where near her peak… the upside is high and the talent is legit. Can’t wait to see the how she progresses over her basketball journey.
