https://mobile.twitter.com/neebay23rnWashington is no stranger to this type of list, she is basically a walking double-double. The Rocket’s 6’0″ Junior is averaging 17.0 points with 11.5 rebounds per game early in the season. Washington has excellent footwork around the basket and attacks the ball once it comes off the rim. Her ability to not only rebound, but quickly go back up once securing is elite and puts pressure on interior defenses, by creating fouls with and 1 attempt. With her length and hustle, mixed with good movement, Washington cleans the glass like Windex and provides a consistent target for interior passing. Washington is a top talent player in the state and will garner a ton of attention from colleges.
Another long and athletic big, Muhammad has shown she can be a leader for the Bunnies this season. Averaging 13.7 points with 17.3 rebounds per game, teams are quickly realizing they have to gameplan for senior center. Muhammad attacks the painted area and has perfected the ability to seal her defender to put herself in prime position to grab a rebound or create a passing lane. Her ability to catch with soft hands and use the glass makes her a consistent and efficient target for her teammates. Another strength of Muhammad’s is her ability to run the floor to establish position both offensively and defensively. Pair that with her length and she is also blocking over 2 shots per game. Muhammad is announcing herself to the metro and it won’t be long before college scouts beging to take notice.

https://mobile.twitter.com/alexa_eddiernSpeaking of making her presence know, Eddie has been spectacular for the Storm to date. In the last two weeks, Eddie has two double-doubles and is averaging 11.6 points with 7 rebounds per game on the year. She has demonstrated great anticipation on how she plays the ball off the rim and immediately dribble the ball out or make an outlet pass to get down court. She has a top-notch hustle to the ball that requires opponents to have to out effort her to win possessions. Offensively, her ability to cut in the lane and finish at the rim makes her a strategic part of the Storm’s gameplan. Only a sophomore, Eddie’s name will become a hot one on the scene in the coming years.

Averaging 11.9 rebounds per game to go along with 12 points, teams are quickly learning to matchup with Dalton as soon as she gets in the painted area. Dalton has had four 14+ rebound performances, including a 21-rebound game against Bellevue East. Her length is an asset but her ability to anticipate the ball off the rim has been a key for her success. As Dalton develops her offensive skillset, she has the making of a top notch prospect for her class.
