Brooke Murrell Brooke Murrell 6'2" | PF Thomas Jefferson | 2023 State CO – Thomas Jefferson
Murrell is one of the top players in the class for a reason. The Hawaii commit is an immediate double double threat, posing constant pressure on the rim. She possesses an above average wingspan along with notable height at roughly 6’2. Murrell understands her strengths, emphasizing those 50/50 possessions and offensive rebounds. The forward possesses excellent timing on rebounding opportunities, almost always getting to the ball before anyone else. To start her season, Murrell has posted 18.5 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 3.3 stocks per game. With her wiry frame, Murrell has been a staunch post defender. She will be one of those opponents that often wins fronting the post, notching multiple deflections per game from those opportunities.
Laci Roffle Laci Roffle 6'0" | SF Eaglecrest | 2023 State CO – Eaglecrest
Roffle has been a jack of all trades for Eaglecrest, making a valuable impact all over the floor. Recently committing to Metropolitan State at Denver, Roffle will rest assured this season. The 6′ small foward has made a a major impact on the defensive end. Roffle has excelled consistently harassing ballhandlers and maintaining legal defensive positioning. To start the season, Roffle has posted 9.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. The forward has shown greater willingness bringing up the ball. She has a patient pace setting up the offense, even stepping into three point jump shots should the defense fail to step up. There is no doubt that Roffle will be the nightly x-factor for Eaglecrest. She has proven to impact the game in many ways, however you never know which area she will impact most.
Kyrah Daniels – Thunderridge
Daniels has proven herself as a scoring threat within the mid range and interior. The 6’1 forward has lept off the page to start he season. Through her first four games, Daniels has posted 18 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3 steals per game. The forward does well flowing into elbow jumpers off the move thanks to quick footwork. A key area of Daniels’ offense resides in the paint. She stays aggressive fighting for offensive rebounds, proving to have a notably quick second and third jump.
Ashlyn Stapleton Ashlyn Stapleton 5'6" | SF Vista Peak Preparatory | 2023 State CO – Vista Peak Prep
Stapleton plays a valuable role as a stretch forward for Vista Peak. The senior forward as been especially efficient from beyond the arc, knocking down 35% of her three point attempts. At roughy 5’9, Stapleton is a prolific defensive rebounder. For reference the forward has kicked off the season with averages of 8 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 6.6 steals per game. Stapleton’s rebounding averages are a testament to her fundamentals on the defensive end. She consistently looks to find a body to box out and displays notable toughness at her size. Coupled with her floor spacing role on offense, Stapleton does not benefit from many opportunities for boards on the offensive end.
