1. Mydrea Moore – Leuzinger 2024
Moore can play in the post and on the wing and in the game I saw she was playing mostly center. She has good size and has an advantage against smaller frontcourt players. She can be active around the basket, she has a nice touch and she can hit the little turnaround jumper in the post. She can also space the floor and knock down the three-point shot. Defensively she stood out as well. She contests shots well near the basket and she did a solid job staying vertical and bodying up against a bigger post player.
2. Kyori Lloyd – Bishop Montgomery 2023
Lloyd is a strong interior player. She makes aggressive moves to the basket and uses her strength and size to muscle her way to the rim. Hits defenders with quick spins in the post and she can draw contact at the rim and get to the free-throw line consistently where she shoots it a decent clip. Runs the floor well in transition. She can space the floor and shoot the three consistently. Sets good, hard screens for teammates. Defensively, she’s a shot blocker and she can meet slashers at the rim.

Salter is able to establish good post position, she can seal off her defender and finish strong in the paint. Uses her body well to muscle her way through the defense. Uses the glass well too to finish. She’s decisive with the ball, doesn’t hold on to it for too long, she knows when to give the ball up and when to look to score. Hits defenders with spins to get to the basket. Good screener.
4. India Pines – Mira Costa 2023
Pines is active on the glass, slight but uses her positioning and length to grab boards. Rebounds with two hands. She can catch the ball in the post and she has good footwork and ability, just needs to fine tune it a little bit. Plays the pick and roll well as the roller and has good hands catching passes; looks to finish strong.
5.

Okah is an active rebounder using her length and size to sky over smaller frontcourt players. Rebounds with two hands. Offensively, she can get good post position, but is still a little bit raw. She catches the ball high though, doesn’t bring it down and allow the defense to tie it up. She can finish at the rim and she can shoot the little runner in the lane. Defensively, she is a shot blocker who protects the paint well.
