Fields made an impact with her lateral quickness, able to stay in front and limit dribble penetration. Kailyn did well moving the ball on offense and attacked in spots. She hit a one-dribble pull-up and scored on a pair of drives, playing off two feet. She finished with 7 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Highlights
Last name Greene, first name Kyla – hair: orange – the guard scored all six of Langston Hughes’ first quarter points, attacking downhill on drives. She would finish with a team-high 11 points and 9 rebounds. Her ability to get in the lane was the Panthers’ most consistent form of offense. She scored with a floater and was able to finish with her left hand.
The wiry stat sheet stuffer did a little bit of everything in Archer’s 70-54 win over Baldwin. She tallied 15 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. She netted a pair of threes and scored on drives. Her activity on the perimeter makes her a dangerous defender with how she can shut down passing lanes and earn deflections.
Ruff is a skilled ball handler and an explosive athlete that wants to get to the rim when searching points. It was nice to see her step outside a nail a corner three, a major weapon she must fully implement. She finished with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals.
