Emma Stover
Emma Stover
Emma Stover is a strong forward that uses her body well. Fights for position in the post, buries defenders if allowed or seals with a high hand is fronted. When she catches it, she is very efficient and can use her body to bang and get the advantage before finishing over either shoulder. She moves really well at her position and has really good hands to catch and has a nice touch on her shot.
Work horse. She will bang down low and play strong around the rim. She attacks the open gap and finishes through contact at the rim. Uses her footwork to handle pressure and score when the double team comes. Shooter, shooter, shooter. I saw her block the ball 3 straight times in one possession. She had a sweet euro step bucket at the end of the 4th quarter vs Norman, showed her athleticism and body control. She is an inside-out player: threat from the 3-pointer and a presence inside with good passing ability.
Fierce competitor that controls the pace of the game, sees the floor well and makes timely passes to open teammates, can handle the ball well, smart player that values the ball and can shoot and hit the 3-point jumper. Great passing ability – a magician with the rock. She really impressed me with her passing ability and intensity on defense.
Allyssa Parker
Allyssa Parker
Strong player in the paint. Has moves, good footwork and plays through contact. She is a good passer and uses her length to see over the defense when passing. Handles the ball decent and handles pressure pretty well. She is an underrated player and has definitely gotten my attention and I look forward to checking in on her the rest of the season.
Alyssa brings a spark in different ways. When she makes up in her mind that she is going to have a big game, she does. I have seen her bring energy on defense by stepping over and sacrificing her body to take a charge. And offensively, where do i start? We all know about her patent fadeaway jumper – love it when it goes in. But she also brings energy by rebounding, posting up, and playing strong inside. She made a huge impact in the finals game vs Lincoln scoring 15 points to lead the team.
