Devyn Kiernan Devyn Kiernan 5'10" | SF Mater Dei | 2025 State CA – Kiernan stood out for her off the ball play. She moves well in the halfcourt and makes strong cuts to the basket. She has solid size for a wing. Good rebounder who can box out and hold her position. With the ball in her hands, she looks to make the right pass and keep the ball moving.
Natalie Hernandez Natalie Hernandez 5'10" | PG Corona | 2025 State CA – long guard that plays the front of the 3-2 zone and does a great job at it, forcing the ball to one side and then can push the break and get it to her scorers on the floor. She also showed us she could stop and pop the three pointer in transition off the break, she knocked down two of them in the game to help her team get back on track, love her size and the way she ball handles.
Helena Vu Helena Vu 5'9" | CG Long Beach Poly | 2025 State CA – Vu is a bit of a combo guard who spent time playing both point guard and shooting guard. She’s comfortable handling the ball and she has a size advantage when she’s playing point guard. She has good handles and keeps her dribble under control. Comfortable being the primary playmaker and keeping the ball moving in the halfcourt. Her size allows her to guard multiple positions and she did an exceptionally good job at being able to front the post.
Joy Anderson Joy Anderson 5'9" | SF Long Beach Poly | 2025 State CA – For a young player, Anderson looked very advanced and fundamentally sound. She is active around the rim making good cuts and getting open in the dunker spot. She can finish through contact and draw fouls to get to the free-throw line. She can also put the ball on the floor from the high post and get to the rim or pull-up and shoot a little jumper. Good box outs to grab rebounds and follows misses
Melina Wehrle Melina Wehrle 6'1" | PF Pacific Palisades | 2025 State CA – Wehrle is small, but quick and able to attack off the dribble. She pushes the pace well in transition. Does a good job of staying middle and finding players cutting to the basket along the baseline. She’s a pass-first point guard and doesn’t try to do too much. She keeps the ball moving in the halfcourt and does well instructing others on where to be. She’s able to get to the basket consistently but does have to finish a little stronger.
Bella Spencer Bella Spencer 5'9" | SF Harvard Westlake | 2025 State CA – Bella is a wing player that can score from all three levels on the court, her stroke from the outside is nice and fluid and she is very confident in her game. She has a solid body and knows how to use it on the court, she is a solid player for her team.
Julia Wilson Julia Wilson 5'10" | SF Rancho Christian | 2025 State CA – Wilson is a wing who has some playmaking skills. She’s comfortable handling the ball in the halfcourt. She can put the ball on the floor and she does a good job attacking the defense in transition. In the halfcourt, she uses her size to see over the defense and she looks for the open teammate. She uses her size to finish strong at the rim through traffic.
Maria Mejia Maria Mejia 5'11" | PF Orangewood Academy | 2025 State CA – Mejia had good handles for a wing player. She’s a very unselfish player who is constantly looking to make the extra pass. Most of her scoring comes from off-ball movement. She’s constantly in motion and does a good job flashing across the middle. She’s active around the basket and rebounds well through traffic. Sets good screens and does other little things to help the team win.
Amaya Williams Amaya Williams 5'8" | CG Mater Dei | 2025 State CA – Dynamic guard that has explosive moves to the rim, she can swing thru and get by her defender and finish with floaters or take it hard to the rim and finish thru contact. She is able to shoot the ball from all three levels, but her strengths are getting to the rim and finishing or giving a great dime to her teammates for easy buckets, she will be added to the rankings this coming edition for sure.
