Insider Exposure hosted a number of the top teams from all across Florida as well as all across the country. We took in some of the action at Bolles School. Here are some of the class of 2024 wings.
Alla Oskarsdottir Alla Oskarsdottir 5'11" | PF LAKE HIGHLAND PREP | 2024 State FL (Lake Highland Prep) – 6’0 Wing
Oskarsdottir is a tall, skilled wing that showcased an ability to knock down 3-pointers. She had a big second half, providing a spark and much needed offensive to turn the game around for Lake Highland Prep.
Alexandra Blue (Lake Highland Prep) – 6’2 Wing
Blue body has filled out, having grown 1-2 inches and putting on 10+ pounds since I have last seen her. She is stronger and a more well-rounded offensive player who had nine points in the second half, including knocking down two 3-pointers.
Chloe Sotell (Montverde Academy) – 5’11 Wing
Sotell came off the bench getting spot minutes form the wing position on a very talented Montverde squad. She will be one of the teams go-to players for the next few years but has a very talented Senior class that gets a bulk of the minutes. I want to see her play more, to get a better idea of her skill level and potential.
Gianna Corbitt Gianna Corbitt 6'1" | SF Blanche Ely | 2024 State FL (Blanche Ely) – 6’1 Wing
Corbitt played mainly forward and center, knocking down high post jumpers. After missing significant court time, this was the first time seeing her play 100% healthy. The forward / center role was a new position for her than I have previously seen her play. She has a big, strong frame and is versatile in being able to play multiple perimeter and post positions. She did not get a chance to showcase her athleticism and versatility in a manner that I have seen her previously, but it was great to see her healthy and moving well on the court.
Wesleigh Ferguson Wesleigh Ferguson 6'0" | SF IMG Academy | 2024 State FL (IMG Academy) – 6’1 Wing
Ferguson played spot minutes for IMG Academy, coming off the wing, getting a couple minutes each half. The young wing has a big upside. Need to see her play more. She will have an increased role as she gets older but could potentially grow into a larger role as the season progresses. Her 6’1 frame is intriguing as she has the potential to be an impact player.
