One of the top recruits in the 24 class, Julia is going to be a matchup problem for all opponents she sees in Richmond. She’s just shy of a double double average at 14 points and 9 rebounds per game.
Hoskins may be the best shooter in Richmond next week as she rolls into town shooting 43% from deep. Averaging 18 points per game, the Holy Cross vs Leslie game likely comes down to guards vs bigs as HCC has some serious size.
Beard does a little bit of everything for the Lady Pirates and will be relied upon to help carry their offense on Wednesday. An efficient scorer, look for Abigail to have the ball in her hands for most of the 32 minutes against Owen County.
Ferguson and Haley Logan do most of the heavy lifting for the reigning All A State champs. Coming to defend their title next week, Ferguson will be a tough matchup for Berea on Wednesday and can have a big week for the Lady Rebels.
Highlights
Another big time scorer, Ellie is a slashing scorer who can get to the rim consistently and is a good finisher in the paint. She and Love could put on quite the scoring display on Wednesday.
One of the best players in the state, Trinity has Pikeville positioned as the likely favorites to win the championship. Everything the Panthers do runs through Rowe and she has the ability to create a lot of offense for her team and is disruptive and active on defense.
Kiera has the opportunity to make a name for herself with a strong showing in Richmond. Because Carlisle is so far into western Kentucky, she doesn’t get a ton of exposure outside her region but Whitaker has a chance to impress with a big game against Pikeville.
