This has been a great season of basketball with girls breaking out of the gates, making a name for themselves along the way. We saw teams come together and handle adversity, while some continued on an excellent trajectory. Most importantly, girls in the state got better and not only did the individual do so, but parity around the state is up as well.
BCAT, which stands for Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee, named their all-stars to their annual event. I must say, they did an excellent job choosing young ladies who are worthy of recognition. This East vs. The West event will have some exciting matchups that will be a must see. It will truly be an amazing All-Star event and I can’t wait to see these girls go toe to toe. Here at PHG Tennessee, we’ve had the honor of following these young ballers throughout their high school career. I can honestly say I am proud of them and watching them ball out is amazing. They never seemed to disappoint anytime they took the floor. This game can be tough, full of adversities, yet these girls overcame time and time again to display heart and excellence when it came to the hardwood.
This is the first segment as we highlight the BCAT All-Star squads. Each team will be featured throughout the coming weeks.
