Bethani is another sophomore to keep up with the next couple years. Great size for the perimeter and to battle in the paint. She looks comfortable whether dominating the ball or playing off of it. She made some good passes throughout the game to set up scoring opportunities. She moves well without the ball to open spaces and can put in on the floor to make something happen for herself. I love how she plays through contact and finishes tough plays. Finished with 15 points.
2025 5’9 Sophia Zoerb Sophia Zoerb 5'10" | SG Hough | 2025 NC vs J. L. Chambers
Sophia stood out with how she shot the long ball throughout the game. She did a good job in her role , coming off screens and knocking down open shots within her range. She showed flashes of getting down hill and making a couple moves to finish at the basket, that is going to continue to develop. Will be a steady contributor for Hough the next couple of years.
2025 5’10 Sarah Furst vs Green Hope
Sarah does a lot of the things you won’t see in a stat sheet that contributes to the success of the team. Not flashy, but she got the job done for her team in the post. She was active around the rim gathering rebounds to start the break or get second chance opportunities. She has a lot of room in her game to grow but will be a piece Middle Creek needs through this last stretch of the season.
2025 5’6 Chloe Galombeck vs J. L. Chambers
Chloe runs the show for her squad and does it at a high level. Confident ball handler and facilitator, she has a good understanding of the game and what plays to make. She shoots it well off the bounce and can get down hill and into the paint with the handle. Will be a key focal point for the defense.
2023 Imani Washington vs Hough
Imani applies good defensive pressure on the perimeter, you can guarantee a couple steals a game from her. Capable ball handler with a quick first step, she uses her shot fake and jab step with her quick first step to get paint touches. She can hit the mid range pull up and finish at the basket with a good percentage. Her athletic ability and effort creates a lot of good opportunities on both ends. Finished with 12 points.
2025 5’9 Omari Jackson Omari Jackson 5'6" | SG Louisburg | 2025 NC vs NW Halifax
Omari is a strong, quick, straight line driver who excels at finding a way to get a basket. She lived at the free throw line going 9-16. She came up big on the glass grabbing 8 rebounds. Coming into the game averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds, we can possibly see both of those numbers go up if she continues with this effort of play. Finished with 17 points.
2023 5’4 Khasidy Boston vs Middle Creek
There are a lot of things to like about Khasidy’s game, she is a good athlete that moves well with the ball in her hands or out. She scored it well in transition and finished well with either hand. She can create for others in open space as well. She shot it well off the dribble when the opportunities presented themselves. She contributed 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals.
2024 5’7 Swar Dave vs Middle Creek
Swar had an impressive game against Middle Creek from start to finish. She was consistent with her effort, level of play, and contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds. She is a capable defender and rebounder who moves pretty well. Doesn’t turn the ball over at a high volume and can come up with timely buckets inside or out.
