Manchester Township junior guard Devyn Quigley Devyn Quigley 5'10" | SG Manchester Township | 2024 State NJ has set the Garden State on fire this season as the highest-scoring player in the state, averaging over 36 points a game.
Her points per game average last week might have not quite been at 36, but she was absolutely electric overall, scoring 96 of the Hawks’ 129 points during the week.
Quigley averaged 32 points per game, 11.7 rebounds a game, went 32-of-36 from the line (88.9 percent free throw percentage), hit 3.3 three-pointers a game and averaged two steals a game.
For those keeping track, numbers like that don’t come around every day of the week and her two 30+ point performances were her 13th and 14th of the season.
Of the three games, arguably her best performance came in Manchester Township’s lone loss of the week against Wildwood Catholic.
The Hawks might have been overmatched overall against the Crusaders, but no one on the floor could stop what Quigley was able to do, hitting 8 three-pointers en route to scoring 36 of Manchester Township’s 38 points in a 60-38 loss.
Adding in her 40-point performance on Tuesday against Lacey, Quigley is averaging 36.3 points per game, 11 rebounds a game, 4.2 steals a game and she’s hit 45 three-pointers this season.
Oh, and she’s shooting 88.2 percent from the free throw line so far (157-of-178). Quigley might have won this week, but we still have plenty more weeks in the season to go and more Player of the Week and Player of the Month awards to hand out.
