Hardin Jefferson
Kendall Sneed Kendall Sneed 5'7" | CG Hardin Jefferson | 2024 State TX -PG [2024]
Sneed changed her hairstyle yet even viewing online from my computer, I knew exactly who she was. Her ability to get wherever she wants just keeps getting better and her court vision in traffic as well as in transition was equally exciting. She dropped jumpers and played the passing lane and her explosiveness helped changed the momentum in a big way
Molly Beavers Molly Beavers 6'0" | SF Hardin Jefferson | 2023 State TX -F/C [2023]
I guess Leave It To Beavers is a saying I won’t be using after this season but this talented young lady has simply progressed every season since I saw her in the 7th grade. She rebounds, on both ends, and scores around the rim as well as from midrange but she also handled the ball after rebounding in the open court. Solid interior defense as well as timing
Madison Phillips-G [2025]
Phillips showed me her first step was hard to handle and watching her get by the defender both in the set and turning it up in transition with the ball was nice, and so was her FLOATA
India McMahon-G [2023]
McMahon is “long and athletic” which will always be the base, I say that over and over but I also say “what are the intangibles” associated with that profile? She played the passing lane, and she also did a good job of defending, “on the ball” but her attacking the basket was nice and so was her jumper
Jada Pleasant-F [2023]
Pleasant was anything but as she dove for loose balls on the floor, rebounded fiercely on both ends, and powerfully scored not only on putbacks but around the basket. I also liked her defense, both in and outside the paint
Huffman Hargrave
Becca Cleveland-5’7 G [2023]
Cleveland rebounded on both ends and even scored on outbacks yet her diving for loose balls on the floor immediately caught my attention. She also did a good job defensively and tied up the ball while defending
Jade Williams Jade Williams 5'8" | CG Huffman | 2024 State TX -5’7 CG [2023]
Williams showed me her first step was going to be explosive years ago, of course, I was right and her ability to turn on the turbo in the open court was nice. I liked the slight HEZ as well as the COP, the change of pace but she got to the rim almost at will
Brelee Nichols Brelee Nichols 5'11" | PG Hargrave | 2024 TX -5’11 G/F [2024]
Nichols played tough defense inside the paint yet she also stepped out of it and did a good job “on the ball”. She reads the floor, which showed since she played the passing lane but she also rebounded and handled the ball coast to coast afterward. She did a good job attacking the basket from multiple angles and saw the floor
Tess Taylor-5’6 G [2024]
Taylor created her shot under pressure to attack the basket, her deceptive first step played a part in that, but her creativity also helped enable her to get her jumper off
