She is quick and pushes the ball up the floor well; there were a few times when she got pressured but she stayed composed and made the right play. Leach hustled throughout the game and wasn’t afraid to get on the floor for loose balls and get in the mix for tough rebounds. Kylee did a little bit of everything on day one of the Jay tournamenet and it’ll be fun to see how she plays for the next 2 days.
Lilee Sanders 2025 – Salina: Sanders is a strong inside presence for the Wildcats as she positions herself well inside for tough put backs and good rebounds. She has a nice touch around the rim and she knows how to finish through contact. She garnered all of her points inside and did so in a very efficient manner. Lilee does a great job rebounding on the defensive end; she isn’t rushed after she secures the ball and does an excellent job of getting the ball to her guards.
Rowan Geer 2026 – Grove: Geer played with resiliency and determination! She is an all purpose player for the Ridgerunners and she did an amazing job of being a threat both offensively and defensively. Geer does just about everything on the court and plays basketball the right way. She rebounds well and does a great job of securing the ball before pushing the ball up the court. Rowan is a force inside as she is a multiple effort player and makes sure that on the offensive rebound, she goes back up strong and finishes with a tough 2. Geer is only a freshman and playing with a high IQ; with more experience, her game will evolve and it will be exciting to watch her level of play rise in the next 3 years.
Annsleigh Morris 2023 – Grove: Morris is another big time player for the Ridgerunners. She plays the game with poise and seems to play the game with purpose. Annsleigh was a force inside – and, throughout the game, she and Geer played well off of each other. Morris is strong under the rim; there was a series in the 4th quarter where she scored back to back on tough put backs and got to the line each time as she did not shy away from contact.
