Little Elm
Amarachi Kimpson Amarachi Kimpson 5'7" | PG Little Elm | 2023 State TX -5’8 CG [2023]
Kimpson was dropping 30-footers with ease, hey I tweeted I’ve personally seen her win multiple games dropping shots from the other side of the court but she’s been clutch for years, like in this IG video from 2018 I believe. Her ability to score under pressure is second to no one in Texas, outside, off the dribble, it doesn’t matter and her nickname SMOOVE is perfect
Madison Martin Madison Martin 5'7" | PG State TX -5’7 CG [2024]
Martin and her first step have. always created problems for defenders and the talented combo guard helped set the tone early by blowing by defenders to get to the basket to score, or dish. Yes, her court vision is nice, and so is her pull-up jumper in transition yet she also elevates over defenders in the set. She played the passing lane as well as solid “on the ball” defense baseline to baseline but her pressure on defense helped create turnovers in other ways

Kimpson used to be called The Baby by me yet that quickly changed a long time ago. Her comprehension and feel for the game were beyond her years in elementary school so as everything started falling into place, she was on her way. Her jumper falls into place with regularity as she creates her shot under pressure yet her attacking the basket with either hand and finishing after contact was really nice, and so was her “seeing the floor” and passing in traffic
Vanessa Okpagu does something I love to see and that’s “play the passing lane” but she’s also “long and athletic” which is the base. Sophomore Amina Diallo falls into that same “L&A” profile I love to use and she hit the boards hard on both ends
McKinney
Dasheon Wilson-5’8 SF [2024]
Wilson goes after the ball off the rim, let me drop #THROWBACK because I love seeing things you can’t teach. Her being undersized and scoring on putbacks, yes, she scored on both ends JUST DID IT for me, well so did her playing the passing lane
Sam Tillson-6’2 C [2024]
Tillson is a force to be reckoned with inside the paint because of her “college-ready frame” and her standing 74 inches, which is 2 inches taller than “THE MAGIC NUMBER”. She rebounded on both ends, she ran the floor on both ends and she did a good job defending inside the paint. I was equally impressed with her lateral movement outside the paint on defense
Jaidyn Gunter Jaidyn Gunter 5'7" | PG McKinney | 2026 State TX -5’7 PG [2026]
Gunter gave me a very good first look at her in high school. Hey, I’ve bet on her since I first saw her because she always went hard on both ends and did so many things you can’t teach, see above, I love that. She also EXPLODES off the dribble, okay I love that too, yet her body control and finishing strongly with either hand after the lick is something else, but when you add the pull-up jumper, as well as her seeing the floor, even in transition, she’s going to fall into that “nightmare to defend” category
