Midlothian
Sheridan Silvers-5’9 G [2023]
Silvers helped open up the game by dropping a couple of deep ones for the Lady Panthers but she also showed she could handle the ball under pressure as well as create her shot. She did a good job of “seeing the floor” and she also played solid defense, not to leave out she hit the boards, on both ends
Karley Massey-5’10 F [2024]
Massey went to work on the boards early, I only caught the first part of the game yet her energy on the court just grabbed me like she was grabbing rebounds. She’s athletic and has good timing which enabled her t not only alter and deflect some shots but also blocked some. Solid interior defense
Bailey Davis-5’8 G [2023]
Davis mixed it up nicely on the offensive end, first of all, her deceptive first step created problems as it enabled her to get by the defender yet she also showed she could not only create her shot while being pressured but get it off with a hand in her face. She did a good job seeing the floor and also played tough defense
Elise Jones Elise Jones 5'10" | SF Midlothian | 2023 State TX -5’10 G/F [2023]
Jones is smooth, very smooth and she was her teams leading scorer with 18 points scoring baskets in a variety of ways. She’s long and athletic, that’s the base and not only did she score around the basket, but she also blew by defenders to attack it, and when you factor in her body control and finishing after contact, that was impressive. Equally impressive was her crossover, both in the set as well as in the open court
Mansfield Timberview
Kamryn Wilson Kamryn Wilson 5'9" | CG Mansfield Timberview | 2024 State TX -5’8 G [2024]
Wilson is so explosive on both ends of the court, her first step can leave defenders cemented to the court yet I really enjoy watching her not only attack but attack and dish because she sees the floor very well. That court vision also works well in transition and her 30 for on-the-money passes gets her teammates easy looks. She can drop it from outside yet her “on the ball” defense is, well explosive
Brooklyn Terry Brooklyn Terry 5'11" | SG Mansfield Tiberview | 2025 State TX -5’11 G/F [2025]
Terry was “off the chain” as she erupted for 23 points. Her hairstyle looked different on pay-per-view, aka LIVESTREAM, and to be honest, I didn’t realize it was her. Her change of pace in transition JUST DID IT for me but that COP wasn’t all as she attacked with either hand and finished, with either hand. She also dropped jumpers, that “stop and pop” in transition was nice
Crishawn Coleman Crishawn Coleman 5'9" | SG Mansfield Timberview | 2024 State TX -5’9 G/F [2024]
Coleman is another player that shows explosiveness off the dribble yet her playing the passing lane masterfully is something else. She elevates over the defender to drop the jumper, in the set as well as in transition yet she blows by the defender in the open court, well also in the set, and does a good job “on the ball” defensively
Emilee Jones Emilee Jones 5'11" | PF Mansfield Timberview | 2024 State TX -5’10 F/P [2024]
Jones showed me even more, like the mid to long-range jumper, yet she also scored inside the paint on her to 15 points for the night. She uses her “college-ready frame” nicely on the interior yet her handling the ball in the open court after rebounding to either go coast to coast and finish, see the floor or drop the jumper gave me even more reasons why she’s being added to the Top 100
