Recently, five girls recently put their namesake into their respective school’s history as they hit one grand in total career points. Ella Wedin Ella Wedin 6'0" | SG La Salle | 2023 State OR is a fantastic shooter with exceptional accuracy whereas Donovyn Hunter Donovyn Hunter 5'10" | PG South Medford | 2023 State #26 Nation OR truly has the “mamba mentality” when it comes to competing on the court. Kennedie Shuler Kennedie Shuler 5'10" | PG Sam Barlow | 2023 State OR and Annie Koenig Annie Koenig 5'11" | SG Barlow | 2023 State OR are two distinct and dynamic guards with opposing skill sets for Barlow. Keelie O’Hollaren Keelie O’Hollaren 5'10" | SG Lakeridge | 2023 State OR is an assassin with the ball in her hands for Lakeridge.
Ella Wedin Ella Wedin 6'0" | SG La Salle | 2023 State OR 2023 6’0” SG La Salle HS – the youngest Wedin certainly has a namesake to live up to, but has shown that she is in a league of her own. The future LMU Lion has made a living from three-point land, as she shoots it at an extremely high clip from the deep end. Also an aggressive ball handler who knows how to attack the defensive seams accordingly.
Donovyn Hunter Donovyn Hunter 5'10" | PG South Medford | 2023 State #26 Nation OR 2023 5’10” PG South Medford HS – the Oregon State signee has been making headlines since she was a middle school prodigy as rightfully so. Moving past some significant knee injuries, she was named the 2022 MaxPreps Oregon State Player of the Year and now has amassed another stepping stone in joining the thousand point club.
Kennedie Shuler Kennedie Shuler 5'10" | PG Sam Barlow | 2023 State OR 2023 5’9” PG Barlow HS – the talented point guard has been making splashes since her freshman season at Barlow and even came back out on the soccer field after some time off. Dynamic ball handler who makes things happen when the rock is in her hands, quick first step, has a number of finishes around the rim.
Annie Koenig Annie Koenig 5'11" | SG Barlow | 2023 State OR 2023 6’0” SG Barlow HS – an aggressive two-way player who has been an integral piece of a Barlow squad that made it all the way to the 6A State Championship last season. Piercing offensive player who can score at all three-levels, perhaps the most exciting part about her game is her unselfishness and commitment to her team.
Keelie O’Hollaren Keelie O’Hollaren 5'10" | SG Lakeridge | 2023 State OR 2023 5’10” SG Lakeridge HS – the Pacer’s top player this season has been a sharpshooter since her freshman year, as it is no surprise that she topped the thousand point mark this season. An instinctive shooter who gets to her spots in a hurry, she lets it go from her palms even quicker than you can say “good!”
