The total number of prospects now logged by Prep Girls Hoops New Jersey has eclipsed 1,000, a credit to the great talent seen in the Garden State. Here’s a look at PGH NJ’s updated top five 2024 prospects.
No. 1: Kiyomi McMiller Kiyomi McMiller 5'8" | PG Life Center Academy | 2024 State NJ – 5-8 PG, Life Center Academy
McMiller transferred into Life Center from Trinity Collegiate in South Carolina and if you haven’t seen her play, she’s flat-out incredible. A five-star prospect and ESPN’s No. 6 overall prospect in the 2024 class, McMiller can score at will in a number of ways and commands the floor with such dominance. Her touch at the rim is effortless, her shooting, smooth and great in transition. Her defense, strong and complementary to incredible offensive production.
No. 2: Mikayla Blakes Mikayla Blakes 5'8" | SG Rutgers Prep | 2024 State NJ – 5-8 SG, Rutgers Prep
Previously our No. 1 prospect in the 2024 class until McMiller transferred in, Blakes recently hit the 1,000 point total with Rutgers Prep as a junior and if you’re looking for consistency on the scoresheet, you’ve met your match. Averaging 22.4 PPG this season and shooting 87.6 percent from the foul line, she’s a quadruple-threat honestly. From fantastic three-point shooting to a strong midrange game and ability to dazzle in the paint, to free-throw shooting, she’ll find her way to get the ball in the basket.
No. 3: Faith Fedd-Robinson Faith Fedd-Robinson 5'11" | SF Newark Central | 2024 State NJ – 5-11 SF, Newark Central
You’re looking at one of the best forwards in the state, if not the best forward in the state in Fedd-Robinson. What a ridiculous season she’s having with Newark Central, currently on a streak of 11-straight double-doubles, having recorded 14 in 17 games this season. The length is there, the aggression is there, the finesse at the rim is there. Her court vision is incredible, averaging nearly four assists a game as a forward. On top of 20.7/12.5 numbers, she’s averaging 4.8 blocks a game and 4.5 steals a game. Just mind-blowing.
No. 4: Devyn Quigley Devyn Quigley 5'10" | SG Manchester Township | 2024 State NJ – 5-10 SG, Manchester Township
Quigley has made her case and staked her claim as the best pure scorer in the state and she’s definitely showing that and then some this season. Leading the state in scoring at over 36 points a game, she has eight 40+ point games this season, including a stretch of four-straight in late December. If you’re going to be that dominant of a scorer, you have to be a great free-throw shooter and not only is she shooting 88.2 percent for the season, she’s knocking down nearly nine a game.
No. 5: Rhian Stokes Rhian Stokes 5'8" | PG Ewing | 2024 State NJ – 5-8 PG, Ewing
In the three-headed monster that Ewing has showcased over the past few seasons, Stokes has emerged as the go-to piece on the team and her game has taken a new form this season. When it comes to all-around point guards, Stokes is as good as it gets, nearly averaging a quadruple-double this season with a 21.2/7.1/6.8 statline while also averaging 6.8 steals a game. Oh, and she’s already posted two this season, both the hard way with 12 and 10 steals, respectively.
