We watched Maddie play before earlier in the season, we were impressed with her ability to rebound the ball, get in the lane and push the break and be able to finish in transition. She has good size and she knows how to play the game of basketball. We love the way she shows her leadership on the floor, the team follows her lead in our opinion.
Day 3, Game 2: Mission Hills: 93 Wilsonville (OR) : 54
Game MVP: 2024, 5’7, CG, Maria Gorbushin
Maria is a dynamic guard that knows how to score the ball, she is now averaging 16ppg and 6rpg for the season and they have only played about (9) games, she is just getting started and she had a 24pg against Carlsbad HS and a 21pg against Westview HS. This kid can score the ball and she is problem on the floor. 2026, 5’7, PG, Gabriella Moultrie also put up some numbers in the game with 23 points, but she is impressive with her 21ppg, 6apg, 4rpg and 4stpg this season. She has also already had game highs of (44, 30, 28, 25, 24 & 23) this season, this kid is fun to watch.

Athena is a dynamic scorer for her team in high school as well as a top scorer and kid in California on the Shoe Circuit as well. She can score from all three levels on the floor, but she is a very good point guard for her school, she can facilitate, she can pass, she can score and she is a tenacious defender.
Day 3, Game 4: Pleasant Valley: 72 Lynwood: 67
Game MVP: 2025, 5’8, CG, AJ Gambol
AJ is another scoring guard that knows how to play the game, she shows it with her stat stuffing ability this season, she is averaging 15ppg, 3apg and 3rpg this season. She can score from a lot of places on the floor and she is also a decent defender on and off the ball.
