JaNyla Bush JaNyla Bush 5'4" | PG Link Academy | 2024 State MO (Vashon): The 5’6″ 2024 point guard was the Player of the Game after leading the Wolverines to a 76-61 victory over Pattonville in the featured game of the event. The Missouri State commit got things going right from the beginning with a pair of 3-pointers on the first two possessions. She spent the rest of the evening breaking down defenders to score in the lane while setting up her teammates for open opportunities. She finished with a game-high 24 points.
Chantrel Clayton Chantrel Clayton 5'6" | PG Cardinal Ritter | 2024 State MO (Vashon): The 5’7″ 2024 combo guard scored 22 points while putting on an excellent shooting exhibition in the Wolverines victory over Pattonville. She made five 3-pointers in the game with each one seeming to come at a key juncture of the game when the Pirates were trying to mount a rally. She is also a three-level scoring threat who can also create her own shot off the dribble.
Zha Harris (Lift for Life): The 5’5″ 2026 point guard scored a game-high 28 points in the Hawks overtime loss to Huntsville Lee. She was one of the quickest players that I watched at the event and she used that speed to constantly break down defenders to get into the lane. She was also very good one those baseline drives, which resulted in buckets and trips to the free throw line. She also contributed five assists and seven steals and she did a little of everything on the court.
Hannah Fenton Hannah Fenton 5'5" | PG Pattonville | 2025 State MO (Pattonville): The 5’5″ 2025 combo guard came off the bench and provided a big offensive spark for the Pirates in their loss to Vashon. She is very quick and she has the ability to create her own shot off the dribble. She also drained a pair of 3-pointers. She finished the game with 15 points.
Taylor Montgomery Taylor Montgomery 5'5" | CG Marquette | 2023 State MO (Pattonville): The 5’5″ 2023 guard scored 11 points in the Pirates loss to Vashon. She was at her best in the fourth quarter when the Pirates mounted a late rally. She used her physical strength and determination to get downhill on some drives to the basket and she was very effective. She is a solid veteran ball handler who makes good decisions with the basketball.
Izzy Joyce (Olathe West): A 5’7″ 2024 combo guard who scored 11 points in West’s loss to Cardinal Ritter. She plays the game with a lot of energy and activity. She’s always moving on offense as she shot the ball well coming off the down screen. She was also very good when she was attacking the basket. She also displayed some quick hands on defense in grabbing a few steals.
Rahkiyah Taplin (Huntsville Lee): The 5’3″ 2023 point guard scored 19 points to lead Lee to an overtime victory over Lift for Life. She was a very poised performer who controlled the pace of the game very well. She scored on some penetrating moves to the basket and she was also very good in the open court of this up-tempo game. She also darted into the passing lanes for a couple of steals that led to transition layups.
Kyrii Franklin Kyrii Franklin 5'6" | PG Lutheran St. Charles | 2026 State MO (Lutheran St Charles): A 5’5″ 2026 point guard who scored 10 points and played a nice floor game in the Cougars victory over Arlington (TN). One thing that impressed me about her was her ability to feed the ball into the low post. Her passes were accurate and right on time. Her handles were excellent and she was able to impact play at both ends of the court with her quickness and high basketball IQ.
