The junior guardis having a great season and career for West Valley. She had career night earlier in the season with 43 points vs Cheney. Her stat line included an amazing 23-24 free throws. She can really shoot it and plays with a lot of intensity on both ends of the floor. She creates easy buckets with steals and layups on the other end with her speed and quickness. She can turn the corner in a hurry and get to the basket. She drops a lot of threes with her shooting skills and can score inside with decent height for a guard. She is normally found around the ball, getting deflections and steals on D and is a better than average ball handler that can play either guard position.
She is another player that can be found all over the floor making things happen. She opened the season with a couple double double performances including a 23 point 16 rebound effort vs Walla Walla and a 16 point 10 rebound game against Kennewick. She is great at crashing the boards and getting second chance points. She is a grab and go rebounder who will take off and use her speed to get down the floor before the defense gets set. She can shoot it with the best of them and has deep range. She does a lot of things really well and is an underrated guard for Central Valley who is off to a 9-3 start.
She is having a huge season for Davis and has helped her team to a 13-1 record so far this season. She tied her school record of 35 points in a win last night over Eisenhower. She is effective at putting the ball in the basket from anywhere on the floor. She can shoot and has a good mid-range game. She is good at getting to the basket with her quick dribble and can knock down shots from long distance. She is athletic enough to have success at all levels scoring the basketball and understands the game well enough to be effective in any situation.
She turned in a 33 point 7 rebound game vs Edmonds Woodway. She is a guard who has a lot of athletic ability. She plays smooth and gets to the hoop well. She has great speed in the open floor and plays faster than much of the competition. She is a capable shooting guard and will beat you with the mid-range game. A good athlete with good physical skills. She has turned in several sturdy games this season. She is best when attacking the defense off the dribble.
Highlights
She has been a consistent player for unbeaten and defending champion Ellensburg this season. She is one of the guards on this team that might not get as much attention due to the players they have in the post. She does bring a lot of things to the table with her all around game that included a 9 point 5 assist and 5 rebound effort last night. She is part of the pressure defense that causes so many problems for opposing teams. She is at the forefront leading the charge with great ball pressure. She is also an important part of the backcourt and a steady ball handler with the ability to score when she needs to. Ellensburg doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon and she has a big part in that.
