Oostburg
The worst situation a team in Oostburg’s sectional can do is get into a track meet with the Dutch. Freshmen twins Riley and Ady Ketterhagen Ady Ketterhagen 5'9" | PG Oostburg | 2026 State WI thrive in transition and score well when they get to the basket. They also have senior wing Caris Jaeger on the perimeter, who can score from the 3-point line or use the threat of her jumper to get into the mid-range or all the way to the rim.
Waukesha West
There isn’t a team who can win a game as quickly as the Wolverines can. They have kids like senior Maddie Andersen, who knocked down at least six 3-pointers in their matchup at Muskego. Fellow seniors Annyka Hellendrung Annyka Hellendrung 5'8" | SG Waukesha West | 2023 State WI and Caden Krohn Caden Krohn 6'0" | PF Waukesha West | 2023 State WI are kids who can bring shooting and physicality to the game. Sophomore Jordan Fenske has improved this season with her work on the ball and looks dynamic. Freshman Taylor Gifford Taylor Gifford 6'0" | PF Waukesha West | 2026 State WI also brings a defensive presence off the bench with her athleticism and 6-foot size.
Randolph
The Rockets are the reigning Division 5 champions. However, their enrollment grew so much that they were placed in Division 4 this season. They are in a sectional with reigning D4 runner-up Laconia who also edged the Rockets in their regular season matchup. The one thing the Rockets bring that teams in D4 can’t prepare for is the size and skill their posts bring to the game. Rylea Alvin Rylea Alvin 6'1" | CG Randolph | 2025 WI and Jorey Buwalda Jorey Buwalda 6'0" | PF Randolph | 2023 State WI can score with any time to maneuver around one defender and have one of the best post duos in the state. If the Rockets find their way to Resch Center again, it’ll be due to their post players.
Cuba City
Last season, Cuba City nearly knocked off Aquinas in the regional title game. This season the Cubans have taken the momentum and confidence they’ve built from last season, won their first 16 games this season, and have looked great every step of the way. Sophomores Olivia Olson Olivia Olson 5'8" | PG Cuba City | 2025 State WI and Ella Vosberg have been excellent all season and now boast the experience of playing in the postseason this year. Don’t be surprised if the Cubans make a run at in the postseason again this year.
