6’1 PF/C Gabriella Sanchez (Tucson High): Sanchez is off to an eye-widening senior season. She is averaging 23 points and 12 rebounds a game through the first 15 games of the season. Sanchez is your prototypical post player that dominates inside. She is really good at sealing smaller defenders and finishing through contact in the paint. Defensively, she is a really good rim protector, blocking an average of 2 shots per game. Sanchez is a top-tier D3,naia, or juco prospect.
5’6 G Victoria Cazares Victoria Cazares 5'5" | PG Pueblo | 2023 State AZ (Pueblo): Cazares is averaging 20pts, 5rbs, 4stls and 3asts a game through the first 17 games of her senior season. Cazares is a scorer on the court willing to do anything for her team to win. Cazares recently set the new career record for points at Pueblo surpassing 1,475 career points. Cazares is a walking bucket and would be a really good find for a D3, NAIA, or Juco program looking for a scoring guard. She is currently shooting 40% from 3.
6’1 C Ashlynn Chlarson (Pima): Chlarson is off to a superstar start to her senior season for Pima. She is currently averaging 20pts,12rbs and 2blks a game. Chlarson does it all for her squad. She can dominate inside and even stretch the floor by knocking down shots from the perimeter. Chlarson has improved substantially since last year and is now one of the best players in the 2A division. Chlarson is a superstar post prospect for the D3,NAIA, or juco level.
5’8 G Ayjianna Bonaport (Sahuaro): Bonaport is averaging 19pts, 5rbs and 4 stls a game for Sahuaro. Bonaport is an athletic shooting guard capable of taking over a game with the flip of a switch. Bonaport is best in transition where she zooms past defenders for easy buckets. Bonaport can also knock down shots from the perimeter at a high clip. She is shooting 53% from the field.
G Reese Sellers Reese Sellers 5'6" | CG Yuma Catholic | 2023 State AZ (Yuma Catholic): Sellers is a natural in the talent class of 2023. She is currently averaging 18pts, 4asts, and 4stls a game during her senior campaign. Sellers is best with the ball in her hands. She can score from all 3-levels and is lethal from 3. Sellers currently has a ton of Division 3 interest and will be a great asset wherever she decides to play. Sellers is a guard capable of playing right away at the division 3 college level.
5’7 G Adriana Bachman Adriana Bachman 5'7" | SG Poston Butte | 2023 State AZ (Poston Butte): Bachman is averaging 15pts, 5rbs, 3.5stls and 3asts a game through the first 16 games of her senior campaign. Bachman is the nucleus of her Poston Butte squad. She is one of those players that is every ones favorite to play with but hate to play against. Bachman can shoot it from the perimeter as well as finish through contact in the lane. Defensively, Bachman is a physical guard and is really good at limiting her opposition. Bachman would be an exceptional addition to any college program.
5’11 F Ally Jennings (Benson): Jennings is averaging 17pts and 14rbs a game through the first 15 games of the season. She is an extremely hard worker with a ton of upside. Jennings is a ballhawk and every time a shot goes up, she skies above opponents for the rebound. Offensively, she is really good at finishing inside.
5’9 G Sage Begay Sage Begay 5'8" | SG Flagstaff | 2023 State AZ (Flagstaff): Begay is a really good off-guard in the class of 2023. Begay has a really nice stroke from the perimeter and is capable of knocking down shots in bunches. When the game is on the line, she wants the ball in her hands. Defensively, Begay guards the opponents best player. Begay is deceptively quick and is really good at staying in front of bigger and faster opponents. Begay is a perfect 3 and D prospect for a D3/NAIA program.
5’8 G Mak Snyder Mak Snyder 5'7" | SG Sandra Day | 2023 State AZ (Sandra Day OC): Snyder is a natural floor general. She is currently averaging 12pts, 3asts, and 3stls a game. Snyder is a lights-out shooter from the perimeter and can torch opposing teams from 3. Offensively, she does a really good job of initiating her teams offense and spotting up from the perimeter. Defensively, Snyder is an extremely hard worker and smart defender. Snyder is a perfect floor general prospect for the NAIA/D3 level.
5’2 G Gabi Delgado Gabi Delgado 5'3" | CG AZ (Sunnyside): Delgado is averaging 14pts, 3stls and 3asts a game for her Sunnyside team. Delgado is a really good shooter from the perimeter and has knocked down 35 3PT shots since the beginning of the season. Delgado is a great shooting prospect for the D3 level.
5’10 W Amaya Washington Amaya Washington 5'10" | SF Dream City Christian Prep | 2023 State AZ (Dream City Christian): Washington is as athletic as it comes in the class of 2023. She has a ton of Division-2 interest and is capable of dominating at the D3/NAIA/Juco level if she chose that route. Washington is averaging 11pts and 6rbs a game on a very talented Dream City team.
6’3 Mame Ndoye (Dream City Christian): Ndoye is a really good post prospect in the class of 2023. She recently picked up a division-1 offer from San Jose State University. She is a prospect with a ton of upside and untapped potential. As she continues to improve look for her to play a big role on a Division-1 college program in the future. Ndoye is averaging 6pts, 6rbs and 1blk a game for Dream City.
5’7 G Sophia Ganino (Dream City Christian): Ganino is a high IQ guard in the class of 2023. Ganino is a transfer from Idaho to Dream City Christian. She can handle pressure, break down her defenders and shoot it at a high % from 3pt range. Ganino is a high volume shooting prospect in the class of 2023.
5’11 G Kaitlyn Elsholz Kaitlyn Elsholz 5'11" | CG Sandra Day | 2023 State AZ (Sandra Day OC): Elsholz is a top tier prospect in the class of 2023. She is a division-1 talent with size, high IQ and skill. She can shoot it from 3, defend at a high level and score in bunches. Elsholz was offered by division-1 Army this past summer. Elsholz is averaging 11pts, 4rbs and 2stls a game to the start of her senior season.
6’1 C Rori Hoffmeyer Rori Hoffmeyer 6'1" | C Cibola | 2023 State AZ (Cibola): Hoffmeyer is a really good post prospect in the class of 2023. She has size, speed and length. Hoffmeyer is really good in the pick and roll situation as well as posting up on the block. Defensively, she does a really good job of walling up against bigger players and altering shots in the lane. Hoffmeyer is averaging 9pts, 13rbs and 2blks a game during her senior campaign. Hoffmeyer would be a really good fit at the D3 level and has the potential to play right away.
5’10 G Caylie Holyfield Caylie Holyfield 5'9" | SG Cibola | 2023 State AZ (Cibola): Holyfield has been sidelined this season with a knee injury. Last spring I saw her play multiple times and she is as athletic and smart as they come on the basketball court. During her junior season she averaged 7pts and 4rbs a game. Holyfield is an athletic guard that was capable of guarding the opposing teams best player. She played on a very talented 22-4 Cibola team last season. Holyfield would be a great fit at the divsion-3 level.
5’4 G Kiley Edris (Cienega): Edris is averaging 12pts, 5asts and 3rbs a game. Edris is a floor general that makes her team go. She has a really nice pull up jumper that she can use anywhere from the midrange to the perimeter. She is lethal coming off a ball screen because she can finish in the lane or pull up from deep. Edris would be a really good fit at the division 3 or juco level.
