The Gonzaga signee leads her team into the state tournament with confidence and a win vs #1 Garfield already on the resume. What I see in her game is that she is big enough to score in the paint and skilled enough to get herself where she needs to go. She has some great size and guard skills that should translate well to the next level. She is a crafty lefty who has a some great moves in the paint when she gets downhill, which is often. She can get easy looks in the mid-range and scores around the basket. It’s her versatile style and physicality that set her apart.
She has signed with CWU next season. They are getting a great one. She is a point guard with some of the deepest range I have seen this season. She can shoot it effectively from beyond NBA range with her compact release. She changes speeds well and understands how to attack the defense. When she does attack, she is a great finishing guard who gets crafty buckets at the rim. Great ball-skills from the point guard position. Her ability to shoot it from deep, combined with her high 1Q gives Central Washington an immediate impact player.
Highlights
#17 She is a player who not only scores a lot but also fills out the stat sheet in other areas. She is always around the ball. She can be effective inside and out. It’s her all around skills and hustle that set her apart along with her shooting skills. She is a shooter whose shot doesn’t leave much room for error. It is compact and effortless from long distance. She averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds a game as a junior. This season she was at 21.5 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals through 11 games according to Max Preps.
Highlights
A smooth point guard who will be heading back to her roots to play college basketball at Memphis. She is a lefty who excels at getting downhill and into the paint. She is talented and plays with a point guard IQ. She will lead her team into a match-up with #2 Camas in the state tournament. This is as tough a draw as you can get, but she could help make this one interesting.
Highlights
She will take her skill-set to the University of Montana next year. This is a steal for the Griz. One of the most talented players in the Class of 2023. She has a ton of potential to go with her stats. Those stats included a couple of double doubles at the beginning of the season with 20 plus rebounds. She is one of the best athletes on the list, which is big reason for her #3 ranking.
The two time all Metro 1st team selection with over 1500 career points will take her game to the University of Nevada next year. She is a rankings riser as the 8th ranked player in the Class of 2023. The 3rd lefty on this list. She plays with a lot of fire and toughness, while also showing the smooth all around game that sets her apart. She is one of the craftiest players on the list who also possesses some of the best ball handling skills. Another high IQ player who understands how to attack the defense.
Highlights
She is a scorer. She averaged 30 points a game as a junior and this year as a senior. She has great quickness and ability to get into her mid-range game. She can create her own shot with her skill-set, and is a decent shooter from three. She also averaged around a double double with close to 10 rebounds a game in each of the last two seasons. A certified bucket getter.
