Hammond is given the green light to shoot the ball for the Lady Eagles at any time it seems. She logs plenty of minutes for Head Coach I’rek Hartwell and rarely leaves the floor. Hammond will let it fly from anywhere on the floor at times. She’s currently averaging 19.7 ppg on a very young team for the Lady Eagles.
Leaphart is a left-handed slasher for the Lady Indians. She tends to play very active away from the ball at all times. She will pick up several steals along the way with her activity in the passing lanes. Ahleria seems very comfortable the playing the game in attack mode and slashing to the basket for her buckets. She is currently averaging 13.9 ppg, 5.2 rebounds and 6.1 steals a night for the Lady Indians (13-11).
Mahoney is a surely a new name for us here at Prep Girls Hoops. Brady is averaging 15.7 ppg, 12.2 rebounds and 3.1 steals this season for the Lady Golden Warriors (16-3). She plays off the grid down in the Lowcountry in the town of Ridgeland on I-95 right before entering into the State of Georgia. Can Brady and her teammates make a run into the SCISA Playoffs next week on the #RoadtoSumter
Chaney really likes to set up shop out on the perimeter for the Lady Iron Horses. She plays with three veteran seniors on this roster and will look to have the torch handed over after this season. Tia plays her best basketball behind the three-point line and especially working the corners. Chaney has very modest numbers this season with three seniors in front of her on this roster.
Highlights
Miller and the Lady Runnin Rebels have one more regular season game this coming Friday vs Gaffney. The Lady Runnin Rebels (11-12) have been up and down all season long. Miller a guard is currently averaging 6.8 ppg and 5.5 rebounds from her guard position. She will look to push the tempo and find the open man in the half court. Timmerian plays active away from the ball and tends to keep the ball low to the floor at all times.
