Sofia Bell Sofia Bell 6'0" | PG St. Mary's Academy | 2023 State #34 Nation OR was truly the story of the game, as she showed the State why she is perhaps the pound for pound best player in Oregon. Kendra Hicks Kendra Hicks 6'0" | PF Jesuit | 2024 State OR was a defensive force, calling in rebounds and providing stability inside the paint. Emma Sixta Emma Sixta 5'10" | SG Jesuit | 2023 State OR showed her ability to affect the game in a multitude of faucets for Jesuit. Lainey Spear Lainey Spear 6'2" | PF Beaverton | 2023 State OR was a bright spot for Beaverton, showing her fanciful ways of scoring the basketball. Madison Naro Madison Naro 5'7" | PG Beaverton | 2023 State OR for the Beavers navigated the ship and most importantly never gave up despite the uphill battle. The Crusaders took this game, 43-30 in their first Metro League match-up between the two schools.
Sofia Bell Sofia Bell 6'0" | PG St. Mary's Academy | 2023 State #34 Nation OR 2023 6’0′ SG Jesuit HS – the McDonald’s All-American showed why she is on the roster for the elusive game as she showed fortitude offensively for the Crusaders. Was absolutely automatic throughout the game, with all the wiggle, slipperiness, and slickness out there. Had a game high 22 points in a game where buckets weren’t easily obtained.
Kendra Hicks Kendra Hicks 6'0" | PF Jesuit | 2024 State OR 2023 6’0″ PF Jesuit HS – Kendra was an absolute anchor defensively for Jesuit as she helped stifle Beaverton’s post play with her off-side help as well as rugged rebounding tendencies. Hicks chipped in 4 points and 15 rebounds – indicative of her type of play in the game.
Emma Sixta Emma Sixta 5'10" | SG Jesuit | 2023 State OR 2023 5’10” PG Jesuit HS – Sixta didn’t take a back seat necessarily – she showed her versatile ability to make her teammates in alignment. She had a terrific 9 point, 4 round, 3 assist display, where she showed talents as a scorer, facilitator, and ultimately difference maker.
Lainey Spear Lainey Spear 6'2" | PF Beaverton | 2023 State OR 2023 6’2″ PF Beaverton HS – although the Metro League Player of the Year was contained, she still found various ways to contribute to her team as the three-level scorer led her team’s efforts offensively. Contributed 9 points in a tough night but showed brilliant battle.
Madison Naro Madison Naro 5'7" | PG Beaverton | 2023 State OR 2023 5’9″ PG Beaverton HS – the Santa Clara signee took the toughest assignment in guarding Bell as well as orchestrated the Beaverton offense despite Jesuit’s tough efforts. Naro is a fierce competitor who sets the table for Beaverton as well as provides as the spiritual leader.
