Here are some girls we witnessed play in the playoffs last week and we believe these girls need some recognition what they do for their prospective teams to help them get wins and further their chances of making it to a championship. These girls were impressive and did some good things on the floor, we thought we should introduce you to these girls and see what you think.
2024, 5’5, PG, La Salle HS, Audrey Chen Audrey Chen 5'7" | PG La Salle HS | 2024 State CA – She showed great point guard skills, has good instincts defensively and offensively. She can shoot the three ball with some consistency, good passer, moves well without the ball and is a great floor leader for her team. As she develops more each year, she will be a good asset to someone at the next level in our opinion. Scored 21pts, 5ast and 5 steals to help La Salle dismantle Summit 60-31.
2023, 5’4, PG, Northview HS, Kristin Morella – Point guard who can shoot the three ball well. Has good court sense understands the game with a high IQ. Was very quick on her feet, hustle player, does the intangibles for her team, plays hard at both ends of the court. Can play a helpful role at the next level with the right team. We liked what we saw from this player, she is gonna keep improving as we watch her grow in her skillset and help her team win games.
2024, 5’8, PG, Chino HS, Lyndsey Valverde – Up and coming point guard, lefty, good handles, has a good three point shot with a shooters touch and rotation. Good ball handler, handles pressure really well against the press, solid passer with good instincts and court sense. Has another year to mature even more and develop into a huge impact player for Chino and that is what we look for as scouts on the grind, a player that is developing each and every game to help their team win games.
