Prep Girls Hoops Florida scout Ross Van De Griek took in King’s Academy at Seffner Christian and here are the top five standouts from the game. King’s Academy is heading back to the Final Four in Class 3A, defeating Seffner Christian 60-50.
The 5-11 sophomore forward made some timely buckets when it mattered most finishing with a game-high 22 points in tonight’s 60-50 win over Seffner Christian. She was also all over the glass not allowing second chance opportunities throughout the night and had a big second half, scoring 12 of her points in the final half.
The 5-11 senior guard caught fire in the first half knocking down a couple of key 3-pointers, including one to stretch the Lady Lions lead to five heading into halftime. Race finished with 12 points, on 4-of-6 shooting and 2-2 from the free throw line.
The 5-10 senior shooting guard was finding ways to get to the free throw line and attacking the basket. Williams finished with just 9 points, but went 6-of-11 from the free throw line.
The senior combo guard kept the Lady Crusaders in the game knocking down some key 3-pointers in the second half, finishing with 15 points on 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.
The 5-10 junior power forward finished with a double-double (15 points and 11 rebounds) as she got most of her baskets on post-ups or inside the paint. However she did go 1-of-3 from beyond the arc, with her only make being early in the first quarter.
