Continue ReadingThe Notre Dame commit and McDonald All-American has been a catalyst for her team all season. Standing at 6’2, the point guard can do it all. She has an outstanding IQ, elite court vision, and consistently shoots the ball from deep range. She works to get her teammates involved, distributing the ball well while also creating open looks for herself. She is truly the playmaker for the Palm Bay team.
Richardson has been leading her team all season and has really shown out this post season. Averaging 13.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game, the combo guard gets it done for the Colonial squad. She has some nice downhill moves, is unafraid to get to the rim against bigger defenders, shoots the ball well, and is a strong defensive threat. With offers from North Florida, Stetson, UAB, and more there is sure to be lots of eyes on her as her team continues to make a run within the tournament.
Highlights
Boddie’s transfer to Mainland had an immediate impact on the team’s success. The combo guard is averaging 11.5 points and 5 rebounds a game. On top of her physicality, athletic ability, and skill what really makes Boddie stand out is her attitude. She keeps her team collected in high stress situations and truly plays for her teammates. She does well dishing the ball out while also looking for opportunities for herself. She is one to watch in the 5A playoffs!
Garilus is a freshman forward standing at 6’1. In Edgewater’s last win, she had 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 blocks. She has truly been a standout in the 6A region this season and has been critical in advancing her team postseason. Looking forward to watching her in the regional championship as well as her progress this Summer on the AAU circuit.
Coyle is a 6’1, junior forward who is performing at a high level at the perfect time. In Bishop Kenny’s last win, she was virtually perfect from the field, finishing with 17 points, shooting 7 for 7 from the field and 2 for 3 from the free throw line. She is tough to guard and plays physical at the rim. She is one to watch this post season and should be on college coaches radar for the AAU season.
