Now here are some 4A squads to watch out for.
Woodinville 21-1 (13-0 league)
Woodinville has played a lot of games, with about 8 non-league games on their schedule. Their one loss was to a tough Lynden Christian team but they have a very good non-league win against Sumner and they defeated Eastlake in both match-ups this season. They are led by senior Brookes Beresford who has had many strong performances this season. Juniors Lyla Kahrimanovic Lyla Kahrimanovic 6'0" | SG Woodinville | 2024 State WA and Jacey Eggers Jacey Eggers 6'2" | PF Woodinville | 2024 State WA have been massive parts to this Woodinville team this year. They have multiple players who can take over any certain game, which is dangerous late in the season.
Davis 17-1 (10-0 league)
Davis did not drop a league game, winning almost every game by dominate fashion. Sunnyside and Eisenhower gave them a little bit of trouble, with another match up against Sunnyside looming, but the only team this year able to beat Davis was Ellensburg, who is another team to watch going late in the post season. Davis beat Zillah, Chiawana, Kamiakin, and others in some big non-league games. Davis is led by seniors Naveah Patterson and Sara Rodriguez Sara Rodriguez 5'4" | PG Davis | 2023 WA . Patterson is a bucket getter and can score at multiple levels. She is crafty around the basket and finds ways to get her shot off and is physical down low. Junior Esmeralda Galindo Esmeralda Galindo 5'6" | CG Davis | 2024 State WA is another playmaker for the team, she is a fantastic shooter who can hit the mid-range with ease. She gets to the bucket nicely too. She tied the school record for points in a game earlier this season.
Tahoma 19-2 (13-1 league)
Tahoma is a team who has been on a tear this year. They lost a league game to Camas, by 20 points but they are a very very good team. They have a non-league loss to Emerald Ride but was able to play them again in a different tournament and pulled out the victory. They also beat a really solid Nooksack Valley team, who plays everyone really hard. Tahoma is on a bit on a hot streak run as of late, so we will see if that carries over into playoff time. Davis is led by 3 seniors, all ranked in the top 25 in the state and 2 of them in the top 10. Amelie Sitterud Amelie Sitterud 6'0" | SG Tahoma | 2023 State WA and Hope Hassmann Hope Hassmann 5'7" | CG Tahoma | 2023 State WA are those 2 ranked in the top 10 with Angie Cavanaugh Angie Cavanaugh 5'7" | 145 lbs | SG Tahoma | 2023 State WA being the other senior. Sitterud is headed to Loyola-Marymount University next year and is a player who can take over any given night. She has great size and scores at all 3 levels nicely, finding her spots great. Hassmann is headed to Cal-State Fullerton and is also a player who can take over. She’s a fantastic shooter from deep, almost hitting 40% on the season.
Camas 17-3 (6-0 league)
Camas is a team that I think could go all the way. Their 3 losses have all come from teams out of the state of Washington. They have some big wins over Tahoma, Union, Eastlake and even out of state team, Clackamas who they also lost a game too. They have easily taken care of every other opponent by 30+ and have a solid core around them. Juniors Addison Harris Addison Harris 6'1" | PF Camas | 2024 State WA , Reagan Jamison Reagan Jamison 6'1" | SF Camas | 2024 State WA , and Riley Sanz Riley Sanz 5'8" | CG Camas | 2024 State WA are all player ranked in the top 11 of their class. Harris is a do-it all player who can score nicely and works incredibly off sophomore guard Keirra Thompson Keirra Thompson 5'6" | PG Camas | 2025 State WA . Thompson is ranked in the top 3 within the 2025 class and for a good reason. She’s a natural point guard who sees the floor arguably the best in the entire state. Her first step is great and her speed helps her blow right by defenders. Raegan Jamison is a player who can do it all for Camas. She fills all the holes nicely and is fantastic off the dribble. Junior Riley Sanz Riley Sanz 5'8" | CG Camas | 2024 State WA adds another layer to this offense that makes Camas very hard to beat. She can score at all 3 levels or get her teammates involved too. None of these players play selfish, which helps them win games.
Sumner 19-3 (12-1 league)
Sumner has losses against Lincoln (Tacoma), Bellarmine Prep, and Woodinville. They have very good wins against Bellarmine Prep, Emerald Ridge, Decatur, and Bonney Lake. They play very well as a team, which could lead to success late in the season. Junior Lainee Houillon Lainee Houillon 5'7" | PG Sumner | 2024 State WA is the lone returner from last year but is a fantastic leader. She is a menace from mid-range and is dangerous off the dribble with the pull-up jumper. Houillon is stop-and-go all game long and is a high energy player, a player who can take their team far. Kylie Griffin is a junior who attacks the rim well and without fear. She hits contested lay-ups with ease and is a key player. Freshman Olivia Collins Olivia Collins 5'9" | CG Sumner | 2026 State WA is a great playmaker who shoots the 3 consistently. She has been a great player for this squad despite being a freshman.
