Julia Wolf Julia Wolf 5'10" | CG Milton | 2025 State WI
The Milton wing is one of the more physical wings you’ll find. The sophomore does an excellent job using her body to create and maintain space as she goes toward the rim. She also has the strength to repeat her jumper repeatedly, and she shoots from behind the arc with all the confidence in the world. There won’t be many people who’ll head south of Madison to see her, but coaches will get to know her well over the next few years.
Jazelle Gowdy
Appleton West is extremely guard-oriented, and Gowdy plays within the Terrors system well. She brings a bunch of physicality to battle with the taller kids in the FVA and isn’t afraid of the contact that can happen down around the rim. I like how aggressively Gowdy plays when the junior attacks the basket and how the guard uses her body to defend opposing forwards. She plays hard whenever she’s on the floor and isn’t afraid to make something happen off the dribble, and that confidence is on full display when you see her on the floor.
Vanhi Chava Vanhi Chava 5'6" | PG Pewaukee | 2024 WI
On any other team in the state, Chava plays a significant amount of minutes. However, she gets overlooked because of how talented the Pirates have been over the past few seasons. Chava is an athletic guard who can finish at a high level around the rim and takes perimeter jumpers at a high clip. With some kids out, I wouldn’t be surprised if Chava finds her way into the Pirates rotation and succeeds this postseason. She’s one of my favorite kids to watch over the summer because she’s a talented kid and seeing her display that over long periods of a game is a joy to behold.
Addy Zacher Addy Zacher 5'5" | PG Muskego | 2024 State WI
The Muskego guard is a hidden treasure in the Classic 8 Conference. After a slow start to the season, the Warriors found their way to a fourth-place finish in the conference, only behind Kettle Moraine, Waukesha West, and Arrowhead. Zacher’s ability to handle the ball and create for herself and others is a crucial contributor to Muskego being as good as they’ve been this season. She’ll generate plenty of interest this summer because she makes excellent decisions with the ball.
