Stuart Cramer was able to lead most of the game, but some strong defensive moves and scoring off turnovers led St. Stephens to a victory. Let’s check out some of the standouts from the matchup.
Kennedy Blevins
Kennedy Blevins
Kennedy Blevins was the game’s leading scorer. She used some power dribbles as she changed directions on a fast break losing her defender and scoring two points. She did a nice job getting inside for rebounds even against a dominant post player. She even had a nice putback on offense earning some points on the free throw line. She was effective stripping the ball from her opponents, too. She dropped down on help taking care of a strong post player with her teammates.
Molli Harris
Molli Harris
Molli Harris had a nice midrange jumper using her crossovers to get the open look and pull up for some points. She came up with steals and immediately looked up the court being able to get the long pass to her teammate for fast breaks. She made some nice shots when her team needed them the most including around the perimeter.
Audrey Gibbs
Audrey Gibbs
Audrey Gibbs was a feisty defender jumping into passing lanes. She followed shots going after rebounds on the defensive end staying ready to push the ball up the court on a fast break. She had some critical points in the fourth quarter scoring in transition and then turned around to grab the steal and find her teammate for some more points.
Selfishly, I wish this duo could have played together for several years in high school, but I certainly enjoyed how they played together during this playoff game.
Oshauna Holland Oshauna Holland 5’7″ | PG Stuart Cramer | 2026 State NC was showing off her ball handles attacking the basket using some nice hesitation moves to create space. She had a nice finish at the rim through contact getting an old fashioned three point play. She sees a lane that defenders try to clog a little too late as she blows by them for some points. Her crossovers are excellent to watch navigating around defenders. She was even present on fast breaks ready for the offensive rebound if needed. She cut into the lead late in the fourth hitting a clutch bank shot layup with one hand to score two points. You wouldn’t think she was a freshman with her poise and control late in the game.
Highlights
Zion Duncan Zion Duncan 6’2″ | PF Stuart Cramer | 2023 State NC is such a dominant presence in the paint sealing off her opponents for an easy entry pass from her guard teammates. She makes the buckets through contact, and she uses her length to deflect passes in the paint. Her power dribbles are effective creating space for herself on the block. She is a shot blocking and rebounding machine in the paint as well.
