Lovett is an explosive and efficient scorer that once put up 61 points in a single game. Lovett is also a menace on the defensive end of the floor as she can cause an abundant of deflections and steals. Lovett recently committed to San Jose State University.
11) 6’4 C Lauren Crocker Lauren Crocker 6'4" | C Perry | 2023 State AZ (Perry): The 6’4 Center had an outstanding senior season for Perry High School. The senior post player averaged 9pts/8rbs/1.5blks a game and helped advance her team to the Open Division Semi-Finals. Her ability to finish in the paint and protect the rim on the defense end of the floor makes her one of the best available prospects still on the board in the class of 2023. Crocker currently has offers from Utah State, Cornell College, Eastern Arizona, and Roosevelt University.
15) 5’4 G Morgan Escobedo Morgan Escobedo 5'4" | PG Pinnacle | 2023 State AZ (Pinnacle): The Chaminade University commit averaged 10pts/5rbs/5asts a game for her Pinnacle squad. Escobedo helped lead the Pinnacle Pioneers to an impressive 23-6 record. Escobedo is the perfect high-IQ guard that is capable of doing anything for her team to win. The State of Arizona will wish her the best as she continues her basketball career in Hawaii.
19) 6’2 C Ashlynn Chlarson Ashlynn Chlarson 6'2" | C Pima | 2023 State AZ (Pima): The senior center had an incredible season for Pima High School. She averaged 21pts/11rbs/2blks a game as she led the Roughriders to a record of 27-3. Chlarson is one of the more versatile post players still available in the class of 2023. She can dominate inside, stretch the floor from 3 and protect the paint. Chlarson is a duo-sport superstar athlete (Volleyball/Basketball) and is currently still uncommitted.
31) 5’5 G Cambria Medina Cambria Medina 5'5" | CG Salpointe Catholic | 2023 State AZ (Salpointe Catholic): Medina’s stock has continued to grow over her senior season as she helped lead Salpointe Catholic to a record of 22-7. Although, she may have been shadowed by Sophomore sensation Taliyah Henderson Taliyah Henderson 6'1" | SF Salpointe Catholic | 2025 State AZ ; Medina does all the intangibles to help her team win. The senior guard averaged 11pts/4rbs/3asts/3stls a game showing her ability to help her team in many different ways. Medina is still uncommitted in the class of 2023.
34) 5’3 CG Xaria Culver Xaria Culver 5'3" | CG McClintock | 2023 State AZ (McClintock): Culver is an ELITE defender in the class of 2023. She can pick up the opposing point guard the length of the court and wear her out for the entirety of the game. She has really good hands that translates into deflections and steal opportunities for her team. Culver averaged 7.5pts/2asts/2stls a game during her senior campaign. She helped lead McClintock to a 25-3 record.
35) 5’7 G Natalie Scherzer Natalie Scherzer 5'7" | CG Chaparral | 2023 State AZ (Chaparral): Scherzer might have had the most surprising season out of anyone in the state of Arizona. When you talk about a player that had a BREAKOUT season, Sherzer defines that definition. The Senior guard averaged 25pts/4rbs and 3stls a game for Chaparral. Sherzer also shot an impressive 46% from the field and 40% from 3 point range. Scherzer can score the ball in bunches and proved to be on of the best scorers in the state this season. She also remains uncommitted in the class of 2023.
43) 5’11 SF Halena Hill Halena Hill 5'11" | SF Perry | 2023 State AZ (Perry): Hill is one of the best 3-and-D prospects in the state of Arizona. The senior sharp-shooter shot 42% from 3pt this season and 46% from the field overall. Hill is a gritty player that defends and plays her role exceptionally well. Hill averaged 7pts/3rbs/2asts on an ELITE 26-3 Perry team.
