LIPAN
Chelsea Lott Chelsea Lott 5'9" | SG Lipan | 2023 State TX -5’10 G/F [2023]
Lott has shown me a whole LOTT over her career as I watched her during club season as well as winning a State Championship had me add her to the Top 100. Fast forward to now, she not only won another state championship but she was named MVP, yet again, and peep this, thanks to the announcers, she did on her birthday. Her 16 points included 4 from deep, but her clutch shooting down the stretch is what helped seal their victory but she filled up the stat sheet and did a good job defensively
Trinity Benitez-5’9 F [2023]
Benitez is just tough, she scores around the basket, yet her ability to cut to the basket and catch the ball, while finishing was nice, as well as her scoring off the dribble. She did a good job at filling in the blanks but her scoring in the flow, she had 10, as well as her interior defense, played a part in their winning the SHIP
Taylor Branson Taylor Branson 5'3" | PG Lipan | 2024 State TX -5’4 G [2024]
Branson filled up the stat sheet yet she was very efficient scoring her 12 points and shooting 80% from both the field as well as the free throw line, let me help you out, 4/5 from each. She also saw the floor and distributed the ball well and she handled the ball under pressure but let me also throw in that she grabbed some rebounds, over taller players
GRUVER
Kimber Whitehead-5’9 G [2023]
Whitehead did a good job of not only creating her shot but her jumper, with a hand in her face was nice as the midrange created some problems but she also showed she could drop the stop and pop in transition. Let me also add her nice “hands and footwork” around the basket as well as her following her shot on the inside. She also hit a couple of free throws with under 2 minutes remaining to give them their last lead
Allie Sparks-5’11 C [2023]
Sparks has the right last name because she gave her team a SPARK, especially down the stretch as she knocked down a 3 with a little over 3 minutes left and another lead by hitting a couple of free throws but her 13 points from a variety of ways, including off the dribble kept them close throughout the game
Brenna Butler-5’6 G [2023]
Butler was steady throughout the game and did a good job handling the ball under pressure. She also scored attacking the basket late but she showed court vision, as well as defense. Her 8 rebounds were also impressive, especially when you factor in she was grabbing some over taller players
