CLARK
Natalie Huff Natalie Huff 5'7" | SG SA Clark | 2024 State TX -5’7 G [2024]
Huff and Puff, she blew the house down with a 3 to give her team a 1-point victory. That doesn’t surprise me because she started off with a bang, scoring in a variety of ways to help get her team going. She was 6/10 including 3/4 from BTA, she scored off the dribble, saw the floor, and did a good job defending as well as playing the passing lane but knowing how much time was left, she had to make a split-second decision and the result is they’re playing Desoto for the championship tonight
Arianna Roberson Arianna Roberson 6'4" | C SA Clark | 2024 State TX -6’4 C [2024]
Roberson left me speechless, not because she rebounded on both ends, not because she blocked 4 shots, she’s long and athletic which will always be the base, and certainly not because of her having a double-double. 22/11. She ran the floor, on both ends, and going full speed she caught the ball, however, it was thrown, to finish, that’s scary because she’s taken her game to another level, and her performance tells me they actually have a shot tonight
Kamryn Griffin-5’10 F [2024]
Griffin just made PLAYS, at the right time. Need a key bucket, she did it, how about a huge rebound, she was there, and speaking of huge buckets, Ramsey Robledo Ramsey Robledo 5'8" | SG Clark | 2023 State TX hit a HUGE 3 down the stretch in what was an exciting game. Let me also give a S/O to Kaitlin Whitlock-5’10 G [2023] as she brought intensity on both ends and came away with 3 steals
COPPELL
Jules LaMendola Jules LaMendola 5'10" | SF Coppell | 2023 State TX -6’1 G [2023]
LaMendola will leave for Indiana as one of the most COMPLETE players I have seen come out of Texas in a long time. She can control a game from either end of the court, she scored all 8 of her team’s points as they were tied with Clark after one, do the math, and finished with 16 yet her BB-IQ is second to none. Her court vision was superb as she set her teammates up for gimmes, dove for loose balls and she played the passing lane. I think back to seeing her in middle school and I dropped #D1Lock shortly after, even though her clueless club coach wouldn’t give me her name yet one more time, you go from good to GREAT when you make those around you better
Macey Mercer-5’6 G [2023]
Mercer has been a silent assassin every time I caught her and her NBA 3 came out of nowhere late in the game. Well, it actually came from past 25 feet yet that, as well as her clutch free throw shooting, helped keep them in the mix. Gotta give a S/O to Landry Sherrer-5’8 G [2025] who nailed a huge shot down the stretch
Ella Spiller Ella Spiller 5'7" | SG Coppell | 2024 State TX -5’7 G [2024]
Spiller wiped things up across the stat sheet as she did a little bit of everything. Her pull-up jumper was nice, she dropped a couple of three pointers to start as well as change the momentum but she also scored off the dribble. She did a job defending, and hitting the boards and came away with a few steals
