These girls did their thing this past season, helping their squad reach new heights along the way. You all deserve these flowers and notoriety as you put in the work displaying blood, sweat, and tears along the way.
The new additions to the rankings serve as a tip of the cap to those seniors as they leave the high school ranks. These girls worked hard and displayed hustle and tenacity, as well as leadership skills that helped propel their clubs over the top. There are so many ways a ball club can win a game, these young ladies were an intricate part in doing so.
Here are some new additions to the class of ‘23 PGH Tennessee rankings.
Kate Grogan Kate Grogan 5'10" | SF Lipscomb Academy | 2023 State TN (5’10/SF/Lipscomb)– Long winged who was clutch from all levels on the court. She did her thing as she led the Lady Mustangs in many statistical categories. Displaying hustle and heart, she had her hand in each and every possession. From knocking down clutch shots to finishing at the rim, her offensive game was on throughout the course of the season. Wait, she’s just not a one way player, this kid was big on the defensive end as well. From grabbing boards to disrupting the opponent’s pace and space, this young lady was an important piece to the success of the Lady Mustangs program.
Callie Brewer Callie Brewer 5'7" | PG Polk Co. | 2023 State TN (5’7/PG/ Polk Co.)– The heart and soul of the Lady Wild Kittens, she brought it every night she stepped on the court. From scoring to making timely assist, to locking up on D, the energy and effort she brought every night set the tone for the PC attack. Her leadership will be greatly missed, but she will go down as a pivotal person who helped lay the foundation for a program on the uptick.
Kylie Reynolds Kylie Reynolds 5'8" | SG McKenzie | 2023 State TN (5’8/ SG/ McKinzie)– The Bethel commit had a huge year on the floor. A true grinder who is such a “go getter” led her to being named one of the Miss Tennessee Single A Finalists. Her work ethic and her ability to score the rock was on display nightly, as she battled the full length of the floor. She provided the necessary spark that would help change the momentum at a moment’s notice. Doing the little things on both ends of the floor, as well as her leadership will be greatly missed. Tough kid who was a big impact player.
Angelina Lyon Angelina Lyon 5'3" | PG Elizabthton | 2023 State TN (5’3/PG/ Elizabethton)– Don’t let her size fool you. This kid plays with a lot of heart. She wanted the big shot every time the situation occurred. The kid was hungry, out to make a name for herself. A smart heady player that competes on both ends of the floor. She prides herself in making her opponents uncomfortable. A multi-level scoring threat who let her play do the talking. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, this girl surely turned heads every time she laced them up.

(5’6/PG/ Hutchison)– The ERAU commit is such a commander on the floor. She dictated the pace and space nightly for her club. Has a bevy of moves that enabled her to create shot opportunities for herself and others. A 3 level scorer, she was the heartbeat of the Hutchison squad. A heady player, her presence on the floor brought confidence to her teammates. Her ability to see the floor and attack gaps gained respect from opponents trying to stop her. Super tough kids who is definitely a fierce competitor.

(5’7/ PG/ Davidson Academy)– Dual sport athlete who plays the game with some fire and passion. 1,000 pt scorer, she knew how to find the bottom of the net. She could get to the rim, unleash it from D, pull-up mid-range, tough get to definitely match up with. On the defensive end, she used her length to create turnovers, leading to transition buckets. She was a lethal component of the DA attack.
