#1 Jocelyn Schiller Jocelyn Schiller 5'7" | PG Grand Forks Red River | 2024 State ND : Grand Forks Red River- After watching the State Tournament, Schiller is a name we all know by now and her skills are incredible. Offensively she is a complete menace to handle anywhere on the floor, and at 5’7 she can drive the lane hard, and finish at the rim even against some of the biggest players on the floor and makes it look easy. She has an aggressive ability to find ways to score, or make plays happen, but even better is her ability to see the floor and possesses an incredibly high court IQ. Defensively she is just as effective as she is offensively, her ability to pressure the ball/offense anywhere on the court really stands out. She moves very well side to side and can flat out get up and down the court. Schillers overall skills on the court lock her in at #1 for the class of 2024, at 25.6PPG, 6APG, and 6.5SPG she has proven herself. What she will do next year is exciting to think about, yet scary at the same time.
#2 Ashton Safranski Ashton Safranski 5'7" | PG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND : Fargo Davies- When think of a player that not only controls a tempo of a game but sets things into motion and does it all almost second nature, Safranski comes to mind. Safranski is a very dynamic player on both sides of the floor, and I think it’s fair to say has grown up in a Gym and Basketball is in her blood. Her overall skills on the floor are nothing short of impressive, but also packs a ton of leadership attributes as well. At 19PPG, 5.8SPG and connecting on 45% of her shot’s not to mention her superior ball handling abilities Safranski is an all-around sound player that any Coach would love to have. She has had a great career so far, and without question she is going to finish her Senior season coming out of Fargo Davies as one of the best that has played there.
#3 Brenna Dick Brenna Dick 5'9" | SG West Fargo Sheyenne | 2024 State ND : Fargo West Fargo Sheyenne- Brenna is one of those players who truly leaves it all out on the court, and when the game gets tough, she knows what her job is and she knows how to do it well. Brenna really stepped it up this year with her shooting abilities and hit bigtime shots when her team needed it most, and showcased how effective she really is with her ability to score at all 3 levels. Brenna is an overall sound player that has great court awareness, who can also create scoring opportunities for not only herself, but her team as well. She averaged 20.0PPG, 3.2APG, and shot an impressive 41% on the floor. She has a ton of great qualities to her game, and it’s really hard to lockdown which is her best. But overall, she is effective, hardworking and the type of player you want on your team. She makes good things happen when she’s on the floor.
#4 Eden Fridley Eden Fridley 5'9" | CG Bismarck Century | 2024 State ND : Bismarck Century- Fridley is one of those players when she gets going on the offensive end, watch out cause she can score in bunches. This year she was really impressive with her ability to knock down shots from behind the arch connecting on 40/114 (35%) not to mention shooting 39.2% overall. Fridley is a decorated scorer that can really be the player to change the tempo and pace of a game at a moment’s notice. Aside from her shooting abilities she can really attack the rim well but has a great knack at using crafty passes to an open teammate. Fridley has definitely put in some work in the off-season, and it paid off this year, with her numbers and performances I would even consider her as “Breakout Player Of the Year’ for the Class of 2024.
#5 Mesiku Hakim Mesiku Hakim 6'0" | PF Fargo Shanley | 2024 State ND : Fargo Shanley- Hakim has always been one of the top prospects in the Class of 24′ and for the right reasons. Hakim is flat out athletic, who has a vertical that is unmatched which gives her the ability to be a great rebounder. Add that ability to being 6′ she can be a handful to deal with on the inside. Hakim has a ton of intangibles and is a productive player on both ends of the floor. She has many good qualities to her game and is always getting better and better. This season she averaged 11.6PPG, 7.6RPG shot 59% from the floor, and put up 289 points for her team. Hakim has a ton of upside to her game and is in for a great Senior season.
