Continue ReadingCaitlin Clark’s limitless range. Steph Curry’s look-away flair. Azzi Fudd’s quick release and consistency. Shooting it from beyond the arc has elevated the game more than ever before. Players at all levels of the sport study the aforementioned players’ 3-point shooting prowess and try to emulate and incorporate it into their own game. The following players have proved they can light it up from beyond the arc with consistency and ultimately bury their opponent. They can quickly catch fire and make 3’s rain in buckets, igniting the crowd and shifting momentum in their team’s favor …and next season, they return for more of the same.
Faith Williamson Faith Williamson 5'8" | PG Saddle River Day | 2025 State NJ – Saddle River Day (2025)
76 3-pointers in 26 games; 2.9 per game
Faith turned it up in her sophomore season and drew the attention of many around the state. She eclipsed 100 made 3’s halfway through the season and heads into her junior year with a real possibility to eclipse 200. One of the most prolific 3-point shooters in the state, Faith has a fearless mentality to let it fly. She buried five from downtown against national juggernaut Msgr. Scanlan (NY), six against Park Ridge and a season-high SEVEN Cresskill.
Daniella Matus Daniella Matus 5'10" | CG St. John Vianney | 2025 State NJ – Morris Catholic (2025)
74 3-pointers in 29 games; 2.6 per game
Playing on the country’s 23rd ranked team, Daniella proved all season long why she is one of the most elite 3-point shooters in the nation. Morris Catholic’s schedule was difficult, to put it mildly… but that didn’t stop the sophomore sensation from going OFF game after game. Against nationally ranked opponents (that feature some of the nation’s best defenders) Paul VI (VI), Etiwanda (CA) and Purcell Marian (OH), she combined for seven from downtown. She hit a season-high five 3’s twice this season (Parsippany Hills & Montville). She heads into her junior year with a mind-boggling 153 made 3-pointers.
Molly Frith Molly Frith 5'4" | PG Holy Cross | 2025 State NJ – Holy Cross Prep (2025)
65 3-pointers in 26 games; 2.5 per game
Molly “Flames” Frith is what I’ll call her from now on because of her scorching-hot shooting. Once she catches the ball and squares up to the basket, it’s money just about every single time! Teams like Burlington Township and Doane Academy felt every bit of that fire as she torched them from behind the arc, hitting a season-high six 3-pointers against each. Finding a way to extinguish that inferno is a job best suited for a firefighter.
Mikayla Blakes Mikayla Blakes 5'8" | SG Rutgers Prep | 2024 State NJ – Rutgers Prep (2024)
75 3-pointers in 30 games; 2.5 per game
Phenomenal. Jaw-dropping. Awe-inspiring. These are some words that best describe Mikayla’s game. She is one of the nation’s best players in the Class of 2024 that can score it from anywhere, including limitless range from behind the arc. Her fluid shot-motion and elite efficiency made for many 3’s made this past season. It was in a game against Newark Central, however, where she was truly unconscious from the floor. She buried the Blue Devils with a season-high EIGHT 3-pointers.
Kaci Mikulski Kaci Mikulski 5'8" | CG Wildwood Catholic Academy | 2024 State NJ – Wildwood Catholic (2024)
71 3-pointers in 30 games; 2.4 per game
Kaci pulls the trigger with no hesitation. Her reward? LOTS of swishes from 3-point land! Once she gets to her spot, she lets it fly and does so comfortably. Many teams bore the brunt of her shooting prowess this past season and had little to no answer for her dominance. Absegami and Cape May Tech took the worst of it, as Kaci drained a season-high six 3-pointers against each team.
Mia Pauldo Mia Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ – Morris Catholic (2025)
64 3-pointers in 28 games; 2.3 per game
One half of “Twin Back Court,” Mia has that “dawg” mentality. She goes out there and gets it, plain and simple. From 3-point territory this season, she was sensational. Alongside fellow sniper Daniella Matus Daniella Matus 5'10" | CG St. John Vianney | 2025 State NJ , she catapulted this Morris Catholic program into national prominence. Mia eclipsed both 1,000 career points and 100 career 3’s made this season, putting everybody on notice (if they weren’t already). Her jaw-dropping season-high SEVEN 3’s came against the nation’s 5th ranked team, Montverde Academy, out of Florida.
Julia Zimmermann Julia Zimmermann PG Holy Cross | 2025 State NJ – Holy Cross Prep (2025)
57 3-pointers in 27 games; 2.1 per game
Alongside sniper Molly “Flames” Frith, Julia turned Holy Cross into a 3-point shooting machine. Her consistency proved too much to handle for a number of teams this past season. She hit a season-high four 3’s against multiple opponents and caused them a world of frustration trying to defend her and cool her off. She aims for career 3 number one-hundred early next season!
Sidney Smith Sidney Smith 5'5" | PG Roselle Catholic | 2026 State NJ – Roselle Catholic (2026)
53 3-pointers in 26 games; 2 per game
The freshman splashed onto the scene and wasted no time creating waves in New Jersey girls basketball. Amazingly, 159 of her 402 points scored this season came from behind the arc! Needless to say, she was an assassin in her debut season. Her determination to drain shots peaked in a January game against Summit, where she knocked down a season-high seven 3’s.
Katherine Lange Katherine Lange 5'11" | SG Gloucester Catholic | 2025 NJ – Gloucester Catholic (2025)
48 3-pointers in 26 games; 1.8 per game
Katherine’s spectacular spot-up game carried her far this season. Her shooting from behind the arc was difficult for any defender to try and contain due to her terrific timing and quick release. She drilled a season-high five 3’s against Group 1 power Wildwood, which ultimately helped her team pull out the single-digit win.
Haley Poser Haley Poser 5'8" | SG Ranney School | 2025 State NJ – Ranney (2025)
43 3-pointers in 24 games; 1.8 per game
Haley doubled her production from deep in her sophomore season and proved that she is one of New Jersey’s elite 3-point shooters. She is poised to have a milestone junior year, going for both 100 3’s made and 1,000 career points! She was practically unguardable against Jackson Memorial, where she drilled five from deep.
