Tyana shot 9-12 from the field, using her strength to score in traffic and utilizing calm footwork with her back to the basket. She’s a sneaky good prospect that could pop up on D-II radars in another year.
Regarded as one of the best post players in Georgia’s 2025 class, Janaye Walker Janaye Walker 6’2″ | C Baldwin | 2025 State GA showed why with 21 points, 19 rebounds and 3 assists. The low block bully collected seven offensive rebounds against Griffin’s intimidating frontline and got a handful of their forwards in severe foul trouble. Walker moves bodies with her drop step and looked good as an interior passer.
The other Mississippi Valley State-signee had a monster game, finishing with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals, but most impressively hitting 2-4 from beyond the arc. If the bouncy lefty can find consistency with her jumper, she could be a huge steal for the Delta Devils. Her performance on Wednesday was a positive sign.
With Jessica Fields Jessica Fields 6’1″ | PF Mt. Paran | 2025 State GA on the bench in foul trouble, Ciara Alexander Ciara Alexander 6’0″ | PF Mt. Paran | 2024 State GA stepped up in a major way. Her name was buzzing with college coaches after her 26 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 4 blocks in Mt. Paran’s 67-44 win over Banks County. Alexander is physically strong, able to rebound in a crowd and score through contact. What differentiates her from most is how she can grab rebounds and go coast-to-coast. She pushes the ball extremely well with great pace and showcases a tight handle while doing so. While she does most of her damage in the paint, Alexander has combo-forward capabilities with how she can get downhill from the perimeter.

There aren’t too many players across the state that are more valuable to their program than Jessica Fields Jessica Fields 6’1″ | PF Mt. Paran | 2025 State GA . She is an absolute game-changer when she is on the floor. The past two games Fields has found herself in foul trouble, something she will need to work on, but when she is on the court there’s nothing opponents can do with her. The High Major prospect is an elite rim protector with crazy length. She runs the floor hard and has a soft touch from the mid-range. Jessica went 8-12 from the field and 7-7 from the line, posting 23 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks in 21 minutes of action. She is a true blue-chip prospect.
Austin Peay has a future All-Conference player coming to town in La’Nya Foster La’Nya Foster 5’9″ | SF Lovejoy | 2023 State GA . The do-everything swingman is tough as nails both offensively and defensively. She has blossomed into a knockdown jump shooter while still being a pitbull on the glass. Foster defends at a high level, both on the perimeter and in the post. La’Nya finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks on 6-13 shooting and 4-5 from three.
Once St. Francis remembered Sa’Mya Wyatt Sa’Mya Wyatt 6’1″ | PF St. Francis | 2024 State GA was on their roster, the Knights took off, erasing an 11-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter and rallying past Galloway in overtime 76-74. Wyatt was unstoppable in the second half, scoring 17 of her game-high 27 points while adding 10 rebounds and 2 steals. Wyatt is so strong down low. She never gets bumped off balance and scores through contact consistently with nice post moves. Wyatt has a soft touch with a turnaround and can bury the mid-range jumper with ease. She finished 11-17 from the field and 5-5 from the line as she put the game to rest in overtime with free throw after free throw in crunch time, ice water surging through her veins. Wyatt is a big-time player. High Major and Mid-Major programs take notice.
