The 6-2 forward had a season to remember for Palm Bay, as she averaged 23.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. She has all the intangibles to play at the next level as she brought good size, frame and a high basketball IQ. Risch was also nominated to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game which will take place on March 28. She has also signed to play college basketball at Notre Dame.
The 5-9 guard has officially made her mark as one of the greatest players to ever come out of St. John’s County or maybe even out of the state of Florida. Scott averaged a state-best 36.2 points per game this season for St. John’s Country Day leading the Lady Spartans to the Final Four. Scott was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Florida as well.
The 6-1 forward is one of the top ranked unsigned seniors, as Ramsey plays with a competitive edge in her game. Her season got off to a late start due to an injury. For her career, she averaged 16.2 points and 11.8 rebounds per game and won three state championships in her four years at St. Thomas Aquinas.
The 5-9 point guard and University of Wisconsin signee helped lead Charlotte to their first state championship game appearance. This season, Jimenez averaged 16.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.8 steals per game. Jimenez finished with a game-high 21 points in the semifinal followed by 23 in the championship game versus St. Thomas Aquinas. Jimenez displayed her craftiness and finished around the rim and played like an MVP.
The Florida Atlantic University signee played with toughness and can score in all three levels. She is at her best when she attacks the paint and kicking out to open players. She is also efficient when it came to coming off screens and shooting from beyond the arc. This season for Miami Country Day, Godfrey averaged 8.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game.
The 5-9 senior guard had a stellar senior season for Hagerty. Kohn averaged 22.6 points per game and shot 52 percent from beyond the arc, leading the Lady Huskies to a 27-2 record. Kohn’s best game of the season came on January 27, where she scored a game-high 33 points on 10-of-14 shooting from beyond the arc. Kohn has signed to play college basketball at UT-Chattanooga.
